Im still trying to get to the bottom of my high idle (1000 rpm) so i thought i would remove the IAA valve and give it a good clean and tbh it was quite carboned up. i noticed the adjustment screw was on half "in & out" as in pic, is this normal for a 93 TT manual? On a long run say 100 miles the car idles perfect but round town and only say 25 miles is always high.. I dont know if cleaning the IAA has worked yet but will test at weekend.

Ever since I had my Z re-sprayed last year, I've been meaning to get round to taking some fresh photos which show it off in the best pose possible. So far, the best I have found are shown below, and were taken off this forum. Thanks to the donors! The one below is my favourite and the Z looks truly exotic, not to mention very modern. The one below is also very classy, and I believe is Jimmers? Not found one of the front yet, but my personal opinion is that the dead on look is the best. Does anyone have any great photos that show the Z in a very classy and exotic light?

Thought this was a cool idea, considering you would go for aftermarket gauges for the water and boost, good space saving lol

Well i think its a misfire? Start car when cold, everything sounds perfect. once the revs settle down out of the passenger side exhaust pipe you hear like a sputtering type of noise, almost like "per per....pper....per....pp...per", yet she runs fine as day when more revs are applied? I havent changed the coil packs around yet to see if that's anything to do with it, and she has a nice and new S2 PTU with cleaned connections so i cant see that being a problem. I'm kinda worried that she might fail on emissions on the passenger side bank at this rate. But when its doing it i get a noticeable change on number 6, if removed, but not on number 4, and i cant try…

As this ever happened to you and if it as what caused it. Picture this im sat in my front room drink in my hand watching a dvd when I hear a car horn going off. So I look out of my window only to find its mine blasting out the street as if I was sat inside with my hand on the horn. Now I have never connected my horn to my alarm so I no its not that plus the alam was not sounding. So I ran out side popped the bonnet and disconnected the battery as its far to late and dark to sort right now. Even though I dont no were to start. So back to my question As this ever happened to you

Hi all, Im having alot of trouble trying to work out where and how the loom fits? The crap diagram in the workshop manual is as much use as an ash tray on a motorbike. The only plugs marked up seem to be coil pack 2,4 & 6. 4 & 6 seem way to short and wont extend long enough to go under the plenum cover to the coil packs. All of the other plugs are not marked up! And it seems that some of the plugs are the same to fit other fittings so telling them apart isnt easy. Can anyone help here with pics or any knowedge as im ready to bash my head on a wall.:headvswal Cheers Dan

Is it a pig of a job to remove the headlights? I'm looking to add 99 spec inserts to mine if it's not too much hassle :confused1: I have a spare set of headlights I can add the inserts to beforehand so it'll then be a straight swap. Also how easy/hard is it to seperate the actual headlight assembly to add the inserts? Thanks for any advice/info/links/experiences. Daffy.

Hi there, can anyone help me with this tyre question. I'm replacing my Japanese import tyres with Falken 452s. The rear tyres at the moment are 255/ 40/17. From advice I received on this site people said stick with that size. BUTthe company I'm dealing with can't source those; in fact they say Falken hasn't even made them yet(?) They are offering me 265/40/17's instead? I put this into the tyre calculator and it said my car would be 1.3% too slow. So 60 mph would be 60.8mph. I don't get this as the profile isn't changing just the width?? Any advice would be great, Cheers, Adam

Hi all, I'm in the process of connecting the new loom to the engine and I'm trying to hide as much as possible. Do you have to remove the plenum the hide the cables to the coil packs and injectors? Thanks Dan

Ok folks quick one ive been looking through previous threads on thsi and wanted to see what would be easiest. What i want to end up with is indiglow dials up to 190mph with no boost gauge window. i have 3 sets of clocks i can use, UK spec TT, Jap spec TT and jap spec NA. I also have a converter but just wondering which would be the best way can i convert the UK spec into no boost gauge and then wouldnt need to use the converter or is it better to convert the NA clocks and use a kmh/mph converter? Cheers Marty
