Whilst sitting here being nostalgic about my Z I started to wonder where some of the Zeds I remember are now ? Mac1 SMW1 A green car with a beautiful cream leather interior (I vaguely remember it was done by an ex-RR trimmer) The Beast John Something's 500ZX (with a Q45 in it) My own previous Z which was sold to Dave Carey - does he still have it ? Be interested to know.....please add others if their fate is known..... Mark

Hi everyone I'll be selling my car soon - ill health means I can't drive it anymore, but I couldn't leave the steering wheel as it was. Being a JDM model it had suffered in the sun and the leather had broken down and was beyond serviceable. I've just had it recovered by Simon at Hide N Seat. It looks amazing so thought I'd share a picture !! Great weekend everyone ! Mark

Looking at picking up a 300zx jdm 2+2 which has cloth fitted in the light grey colour if I was swapping out the seats for leather would the factory car still have the same grey material around the doors and dash board if it was leather fitted from factory. Or is there different trims colour combo's? Thanks

We took the Zed on its first road trip of 2025 last weekend. It was Julia's birthday so we went to Dunster in north Somerset for a couple of days, briefly venturing over the border into north Devon...... Not that I need an excuse for posting more Zed pics - albeit this time, it's a little dirty. Never mind, I shall be out washing it next weekend LOL 😉

I dropped my Zed off at the local garage for an MOT, plus the annual oil and filter change..... Then I got the call after half an hour to say it would fail as the rear brake pads had worn down, almost to the metal - damn, I should have checked that 😞 But luckily I had a spare set of Mintex pads in my garage, so I wandered down to drop them off. Luckily I got home before the hail storm hit LOL!! I am now pleased to report my Zed is ready for 2025 - with a fresh MOT, a sump full of nice golden Castrol Edge 5w40 and some new rear brake pads 🙂

It appears that Haynes didn't produce a manual for the 300ZX but I've seen some listing's on ebay for digital workshop manuals. Can any recommend one?

Not done one for a long time as they used to be done monthly. Best time to start the comp is the start of the new year so lets get it going.

Saw this clean UK spec original Z on Pistonheads, at the surprisingly low price of £22,495! It was originally at £29,995 which is what I’d expect it to be worth. https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/16723286 The dealerships MD has owned since 2014 which is a good sign and some maintenance work completed, although no note of who carried out the work… Probably a good buy for someone at this price. Over the years, I’ve had an itch to own a completely original Z, in my dream 2 car Z garage, so always keeping an eye out (even though I definitely cannot afford one for quite a few years to come!).

Would +35 work on a 19 x 9 in front or does it have to be +25 for that size? Planning 19 x 10 +35 in the rear. This is for a 1995 Twin Turbo, lowered mildly on coils, 13" Rotora BBK, adjustable front camber and caster. Planning 245 35 R19 front and 285 30 R19 rear. I'm hoping to run as much offset as practical in front to preserve steering feel but I don't want to run spacers if I can help it, hence the question about +35 in front. Sorry if this has been discussed before. Newbie here.
