Finally got my car back today thanks to the expert guidance from Powerzed.. The car sounds awesome and growls like a huge beasty and its still on limited boost thanks to Noel being a big dirty spoil sport.. I thought PowerZed just did Engine rebuilds but that Myth has been well and truly smashed, Jimmer does everything. Right i'm about to start mammoth task of stripping all suspension legs & arms aswell as changing the subframe, diff & going to be dropping the gearbox to do a clutch & flywheel change...... With this in mind (Particularly the subframe drop) can anyone pls advise me of the best points to place the axle stands?.... Thanks all Jamez

Hi! Just thought I'd share my euphoria after getting back from Belgium. Since buying my Z in June I haven't really driven it much in the wet and was finding it a bit frustrating on the public roads - it just seems to attract tossers in Corsas with wide wheels and black windows who want to impress their spotty mates/girlfriends. So when an open-pitlane trackday at Spa came up I seized the opportunity with both hands. The wife wanted to come too so the trip was expanded to a couple of nights in the Ardennes followed by an inevitable couple of nights in Bruges. just being a z geek so here are my wheels all finished with tyres chrome valve stems and z centre caps on just need to get the car painted now after xmas the pic of the wheels don't do them justice thay look amazing in real like my face wheels for the z by a mine light weight forged proper made wheels

So there i was boared now cas of ebay i now have bought two more toyo proxes 275 35 18s two lots of super brote lights for my dark rear lights.heatrap tap for the exhaust. New 14inch air filter. Relays.and earmarked a double din radio..so now going to bed before i spend her house keeping.

can some one please help, just got home from a night out (in the rain) and parked up at home, turned the zed off and the headlights stayed on??? sidelights come on as normal, main beam only one side is bright other side is dim, then swith off all together and main beam on drivers side stays on with a dip beam passenger side, no sidelights, tried everything short of disconnecting battery but didnt want to do that as its chucking it down......never done this before? any ideas please guys and can do without having to leave it on too long dont want a dead battery..............

Well I was trying to get this finished to show off on the Blackpool run, but those who saw it on the night know it was not quite working properly Anyway now it stopped raining I've fixed the little problems and now it works as intended It's my own design and uses an Arduino Microcontroller to handle the necessary functions, I wrote the control program in the 'C' programming language What do you think? Hi, I finally got the car on the ground again. I noticed a bit tyre wear on the inside and checked the camber. Was +1,5 on right side and +0.5 on the left side. shouldn't they be the same?

Ok so ever since I passed my test I've always wanted to do a trip to the ring, but something's always come up so haven't been able to go, a few months ago the GTIR owners club did a trip to it but with a baby on the way again I couldn't go, the pics and vids ect looked great fun So I thought next year this is defiantly something I want to do, now I don't think this club does enough big meets or events so I was thinking maybe we could sort out a road trip to the ring, we could do it for example May or June next year this gives anyone interested plenty of time to save/get there cars ready and to sort it with work ect. Hi there, been doing a bit of a search and cant seam to find the answer. How many hose clamps in the engine bay and what sizes are they? thinking about changing them all for T bolt clamps...... i know its prob going to be expensive but its something that can be done in stages. CheerZ Neil

Got my insurance renewal in the post the other day and it has more than doubled in price from last year! I was with sureturm, but as mentioned by si in a previous thread they no longer insure grey imports, or In their words " we advise that following a change in product range means we are not able to offer you a quotation through enterprise insurance group for you renewal". Hey all, Having problems with reading my ecu codes. Pulled the ecu to turn on the self diagnosis and theres no mode selector knob on it! Just a hole and the led, stuffed a screwdriver in but nothing in there but diodes and stuff! Next pulled all the under dash off to try and find the consult port to bridge the pins to select diagnosis mode and theres no port anywhere!! Maybe i am just not seeing it but really have looked everywhere. Its a 93 UK spec TT manual, did they put them somewhere else on the UK? Help!!!! This post on TT.net shows the installation of a Nismo Euro Spec Oil Cooler Kit: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2212694/Nismo-Euro-Spec-Oil-Cooler-Kit-21305-37P00K.html It is the same as installed on my car from the factory (the pictures are clearer than I can take the moment with all the other stuff in the way). This photo shows the power steering cooler taken through the bumper. It is fitted on the mounting bracket you can see in the pictures in the TT.net post.
