I have fixed my electric windows, bloody good job too as a new window amplifier was £140!! It turned out to be a dry joint on the connector leg on the circuit board and with a dab of solder it's now fixed. ():-)

Hi, Need a little help here. Did you notice how far the passenger butterfly closes with respect to the small hole on the bottom of the TB? Does it close past that hole or not? (This hole leads to a nipple under the TB.) I've messed with the screw adjusting the resting position of the butterfly and now I don't know how it was adjusted from the beginning. This is not described in the manual. I'd be grateful for any tips. Maciej

Hi people. I have rebuilt my engine with new turbos but I decided to go for stage one upgrades as it was only a little more, but now I have a flat spot on stopping and when I blip the throttle. The revs will drop to about 500rpm and then return to normal. Sometimes they will drop low enough to stall the engine. Is this normal and would an ecu upgrade cure it or is it coincidence and something else has broken. Thanks for any input.

Hi all, Had an odd incident occur today - maybe someone might be able to shed some light on it for me! Starting the car this morning it sounded a bit rough and the acceleration wasn't there. A short way down the road a light came on the dash - it's the one just right of the brake warning light, and usually comes on when the engine is cranked. After looking through the japanese handbook I have I think it's the exhaust temp. warning light? The light went off after a few seconds, so I took it easy into a layby, during which time the engine started sounding healthy again. I stopped and pressed on a few of the plugs around the engine, and haven't had any trouble…

I need to look to replace my clutch in the medium term - doesn't feel right, etc.... I would like your opinions on a good replacement clutch. My TT is stock, but I would like to work towards a Stage 3 spec (I am enjoying the discussions on AirFilters & Exhausts). The Nissan parts, I believe are around £300, so I thought I would look at the possibility of a heavier duty clutch. I have been viewing the TurboImports.com site and their ACT Street Clutch. Also they have an RPS Turbo clutch (perhaps APEXVR4.com does this cheaper, but don't know if they will send to UK). I guess a 'paddle clutch' (Silvia) would be OTT, and a harsher feel, for my application. Wi…

Hello everyone. I have bought a Nissan 300tt earlier this year and although I love it very much I have had to spend alot of money recently on parts which were all genuine. A little way down the page someone was talking about 'Courtesy',do they sell cheaper parts and if so does anyone know where to get hold of them. If not, can you get cheaper parts anywhere else. Cheers guys.

Having just done my Kmh-Mph converstion, thought I'd go through all the hassle of stripping down my instrument cluster again to fit some white dials... Have ordered them from NR Autos at $149 + $43 postage ... seemed to be the cheapest so far... Will photo the install for anybody who's interested.
