Just had a faultless value for money job done on the above at R.C developments in Warrington. My problem was valve related and I finished up paying £1900 which is about right, but they went the extra mile in that they honestly appraised my bottom-end and declared it sound when they must have known I was at their mercy, so could have ripped me off, intelligently changed my cam belt after checking the mileage and noting it was due, checked the condition of my turbos,and generally said and did the right things. I was only about their eighth Z as they normally concentrate on Evo's, but Jesus they did a good job! The car flies and now holds 0w50 when it used to use 15w50. They…

I know we've touched on upgraded ecu's before but i'm looking to purchase one from SE-Nissan this week if possible. Apparently there are a few different spec one's available so, how much have you guys been paying for them, what stage were they and has anyone bought one mail order that was designed to meet their current spec ?????? I have recently fitted Brembo front calipers and 330mm discs exR33, these have fitted perfectly behind the 17" Momo sportz wheels with stax of room to spare, I reckon there is at least a 100% improvement in braking efficiency especially at high speeds! Cheers to Johnny at Grasshopper for the"mint" condition calipers and discs. One question however, have i retained my A.B.S.? Also, whilst i am on line.................. Due an oil change soon (every 3k) 300zx is just coming up to 96k miles TT model, have used Mobil 1 for last 2 years, anyone recommend a better alternative?

I've just ordered a rear light panel for my Z from PaulBailey design. I know they use lights clusters from a Fiat Coupe, but wondering where else I could buy them from except from Fiat direct. I've tried local scrappies but no joy there. Also, anyone got any knowledge on fitting the panel and lights. Any wiring problems???? CheerZ> Chris

I'm all set to pick my first Z up on Tuesday if all goes well, so expect me to be a regular from then on. Hopefully with not too many problems. It's a black '91 TT and i can't wait to get it. It's quite a big jump from a 106 Rallye to a Z so it should be gooood. I don't many people here really, I've met Tooley and Johnny a couple of times, (200plus meetings) but thats it. I'll report back on Tuesday to let you all know how it goes. P.S. Am I the youngest person to own a Z here, as I'm only 20.

Hhello everybody peeps. I'm looking to get a rear bumper and after speaking to Luke (Z Centre) it looks as though I might have a problem cos I've got 2 sets of twin 3.5" tail pipes. Has anybody got the same sort of exhaust and managed to get a rear bumper on and if so which one. Thanks Vijay

My Z has just started making a hollow gurgly noise (like you get when water drains down a plug hole). It's gotten louder over the last 2 days and is most noticable when idle. It's coming from the drivers side and is heard most clearly if you open the door and listen from the height of the handle. Can anyone suggest what this is likely to be?
