Ok so i dunno how much of this is correct - i got it sent to me from a mate here are Core. The following contains details and some locations of the new digital speed trap system currently being installed in the UK - If the above is correct and they are used wide spread it will severly dampen the fun that you can have in a Car on UK roads. Heres is the Nasty : Be aware of the new speed cameras which are being erected the complete length of the 'A' and 'M' Roads. They are recognised by tall blue coloured poles and a small aerial pole next to it. We may have a possible stay of execution, due to the privacy law up-holding these units for being switched on…

Bored, bored, bored! Looking at some of the other peoples lovely Z's on the forum, especially in the rides section...I was wondering what is the deal with fitting nice aftermarket wheels? What is the max. size you can fit without having to modify wheel arches etc.? Tim ;-) 1991 UK 300ZX TT Auto. Current Status: M.I.A.

I've just ordered a rear light panel for my Z from PaulBailey design. I know they use lights clusters from a Fiat Coupe, but wondering where else I could buy them from except from Fiat direct. I've tried local scrappies but no joy there. Also, anyone got any knowledge on fitting the panel and lights. Any wiring problems???? CheerZ> Chris

I'm all set to pick my first Z up on Tuesday if all goes well, so expect me to be a regular from then on. Hopefully with not too many problems. It's a black '91 TT and i can't wait to get it. It's quite a big jump from a 106 Rallye to a Z so it should be gooood. I don't many people here really, I've met Tooley and Johnny a couple of times, (200plus meetings) but thats it. I'll report back on Tuesday to let you all know how it goes. P.S. Am I the youngest person to own a Z here, as I'm only 20.

Hhello everybody peeps. I'm looking to get a rear bumper and after speaking to Luke (Z Centre) it looks as though I might have a problem cos I've got 2 sets of twin 3.5" tail pipes. Has anybody got the same sort of exhaust and managed to get a rear bumper on and if so which one. Thanks Vijay

GuyZ, I'm sure I've heard somewhere that all the stock stereo gear is Bose and can be a nightmare to replace. Is this true? Bob, you da man in this department I suspect. Tim ;-) 1991 UK 300ZX TT Auto. Current Status: M.I.A.

I emailed Alex Dearden at Racelogic this after to quiz him about this Blitz SuS induction thingey and can you use two as opposed to just one...blah, blah, blah. Anyway, he mailed me back with the answer and at the end of the email he told me that if any of us guys on the forum are interested in a group buy on TC let him know, he can do us a really good price...LOLFH!!! Made my day that did...still laughing! Tim ;-) 1991 UK 300ZX TT Auto. Current Status: M.I.A.

My Z has just started making a hollow gurgly noise (like you get when water drains down a plug hole). It's gotten louder over the last 2 days and is most noticable when idle. It's coming from the drivers side and is heard most clearly if you open the door and listen from the height of the handle. Can anyone suggest what this is likely to be?

I HAVE A SINGLE BLITZ AIR FILTER ON THE 300 AT THE MINUTE AND WAS WONDERING IF IT COULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS TO PUT TWO ON THERE - ONE FOR EACH TURBO. HAS THIS BEEN DONE BEFORE ? CHEERS GUYS.

Had a race with a impreza on Sunday afternoon along the A570 - very good fun, I was just a tad faster than him - having to ease up slightly due to catching him up at 100 mph! Give it its dues though it was quick, an X reg blue on (arnt they all) I could easily outbrake him though and the handling round the roundabout almost saw me drive over the top of him!!! At the end of it though we waved a 'thanks' and off we went. I think its time to get a new exhaust and a new induction kit....would have whooped him then!

I was recently travelling down the A580 when I saw a green car behind me that made me think " What the hell is that!" On pulling in to let it pass, I stopped behind it at the next set of lights. A motorbike pulled alongside it and when the lights changed to green it got left behind by the car. I have never seen a roadcar move so fast in my life. I think it was badged as Nismo, HKS and Powered by Grasshopper. By a process of elimination, I came across your site and the pieces seemed to fit into place. (Location, names etc.) What I would like to know is... Is it one of your cars? What sort of car is it... Are there any pics on the net.. what are it's stats.. …

This is from the dodgy emissions suffered by me from my 21"SVGA - I have been through all posts from today to 3 months back. Lots of VV useful info. Scary stories and happy tales of Z-Ownership and Z-Buyership. I know it's been covered in other posts and i've sent the relevant techie info to my printer, but I godda admit it scares me going out to buy one of these motors. Hehe I've never been a 'Mondeo Man' but I don't fancy chucking 5 and Half grand at a lemon. Thanks to Martinfa, TopSquads, Nico, TimmyT, John, Tooley, and Si on the IOW for your comments. Listen chaps, I'm in Lincs but will be travelling anywhere there is a decent Z to look at. The AA want £240 for…

On my way to Grasshopper this morning I got a bit lost near Leigh and passed 2 nice Z's in convoy at about 8.00 - 8.30. I flashed one of 'em. I know Johnny spoke to one of you on the phone but I forgot your name... One was black and the other black/blue metallic with wing and nose mods.

Took my Z to Johnny (Grasshopper) & Ian (Hiteq) today. Nissan had quoted me £1350.00 for replacing the head gasket to fix the overheating problems. Turned out to be a faulty radiator pressure cap as a couple of you had guessed. Ian gave me a used cap FOC. Relieved that I didn't get a big bill, I ordered the traction control! Got the guys to check out my Z and it seems to be almost a Stage III car. Super Drager exhaust, Apexi induction kit, Gutted Cats, Auto Box Line Pressure Controller, Unknown Jap ECU chip. I wondered why it was quick! Thanks again to Johnny and Ian. Saved me a fortune.

I'm in contact with someone from Germany who can supply the Porsche GT2 993 brakes with all the mounting hardware, brackets, bolts and brakepads for about $2000. With more people interested he can even lower his price. Look at http://www.ultimategarage.com/bigbrake1.html for more information on the brakes

Anyone heard of this one.... Got a 1991 Import Zed TT, the engine is near enough standard apart from a few bits (HKS filter etc etc). When I accelerate hard in third, then change into fourth, it grinds like a bastard!! I've been advised by a couple of people it may be the syncro?? Any ideas?? The clutch was replaced about 8 months ago.

Underneath the standard rear spolier/sponge is a decal strip, which on my '92 UK TT is lookking a bit tatty and is peeling at the corners. I dont wnat to spend a fortune on it as eventually would like to replace the spolier for a fibreglass one. At teh moment I have just rubbed it back and respayed it. Looks fine at the mo but will probably flake like buggery cum the winter ... Anyways, any suggestion son a cheap tart up job? I loathe to say it but Halfords do some carbon fibre type decal stuff, I guess usually reseved for Novas, which I could cut to fit. Also, know where I could get the 'twin turbo' badge from? Yours cosmetically, Glenn
