I just wanted to know what people think of these additives that are advertised to do wonders for your engine. I read on a 300 web site that redex/redline helped with start up smoking problems????? Vijay

I know what the advantage is, better air flow etc. But how is this process applied and is it something you can do yourself with a dremmel-multi and a polishing connection...LOL!!! Guys, I am after a brand spanking new engine bay wiring loom as my car is due to have its engine rebuilt soon(I hope!) and now would be a good time to replace it. I know about Courtsey in U.S. but can't be bothered with all the hassle of getting from over the pond. Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper than Nissan main dealers? Luke at Z centre maybe or Darren etc. Would appreciate any feedback, cheerZ. [-)

I was just going to bed when my alarm went off and I heard a car race off up the road. Some shit has prized the whole door handle surround/lock panel out the drivers door and opened it. Are they thick as f**K or what? There are stickers in the windows saying I have a CAT1 alarm and LEDS flashing that light up half the interior but they still have a go anyway. Hopefully it's only a new handle/lock and not a whole new door skin required. The police will be with me in 6 hours. How efficient! Still it's better than a guy down the street had. Someone reached through his catflap and got the house key. Cleared out all the electrical stuff and drove off with it in h…

I have been toying with the idea of selling my NA-auto so I can purchase a TT-manual. However, I absolutely adore this one as I now have her exactly the way I wanted. If I did decide to go ahead with the idea... what price do you all think I could get for her? oh yeah... she's done about 35k miles. You can view her at; http://members.aol.com/jayensmusic/ Also... if any of you have sold an auto NA in order to own a manual TT... what benefits did you personally experience (and downsides if any - fuel consumption not included) Thanks everyone :o)

Hi guys dont know if its of any interest but I have for many years used trade only suppliers for most of my cleaning gear ,oil, stereo gear etc I only very recently visited a retail store (Halford I think) I could`nt beleive the prices, after checking elsewhere I realised how much cheaper I have been buying my stuff. It may be that some of you already have trade accounts but if not is any one interested in me posting some prices? a group buy would be the best way to maximise discounts Let me know what oils and poilishes bulbs mats etc u use and prices. As a rule it seems as far as stereo head units, amplifiers and speakers go that what you pay in Halfords is double the tra…

http://dimensional.com/~mackys/z/ Stumbled across this guys site this afternoon, I was mainly interested in the explanation of the Z ignition system and how it works, aswell as things to check for when your idle is arse etc. I would say that this is a good site for people who are looking to buy and for those of us who aren't as technically knowledgeable about the 300. See what you think. CheerZ Tim ;-) 1991 UK 300ZX TT Auto. Current Status: M.I.A.

Has anyone found dampness/water coming from the boot area after a heavy shower. Well I hope not, but if you do read this ... Initially thought it was a worn rubber seal which goes around the rear window. My first remedy was to put some sealant in places which looked a bit dodgy, but still the problem persisted. This weekend I had the time to remove all the inner trim under the boot hatch. I actually got into the car closed the boot and got my brother to fetch a watering can and hose the whole area. To my surprise it wasn't coming from the window seal but actuall from where the windscreen wiper mechanism enters the hatch. There is a rubber washer on the out…

Only just discovered this forum from a post on the GTR forum about track time at Trax2001 so sorry it very short notice... The UK Supra Owners Club have organised a Airfield/Trackday through www.bookatrack.com at Bentwaters, nr Ipswich, on Sun 20 May 2001 for £89 per car. We currently have a few places left but I'm sure a few Supras will pull out before the event leaving a little more room for other cars. Any over the maximum will be put in the reserves section until people drop out, all places are first come first served. To join up goto www.bookatrack.com Create an account (if you haven't got one) and add your car to your "garage" then lo…

GuyZ, Just thinking about what else we drive, bikes, 4x4, MPV's etc. etc. Name it and shame it here... I've got a Range Rover Vogue SE which me woman drives around in, actually resembles the inside of a barn(we've got horses!), a Lancia HPE which has sat on my drive for the last two years and me Merc Cossie which is used for work. Am currently 2/3's of the way through my bike test CBT, written test etc. And hoping to be a complete muppett on passing and trying as hard as possible to kill myself on my nice shiney Honda Blackbird(dreams). So come on then, what have you lot got lurking in your garages??? Tim ;-) 1991 UK 300ZX TT A…
