Guys, The car hasn't done this for 8 months! Engine just cuts out, all lights come on and I have to pull over, no brakes no steering etc. Only does it after about 1 hour of driving, everything else works starter and all other electrics, but it just won't fire up, wait about 10 min and it starts instantly??? Goes on for 1/2 hour then does it again Could it be some relay or such getting hot and failing? All winter long fine, the temp shows just under 1/2 way as norm, I have had the diognostics checked last week all 100%. But there are so many small boxes with wires in under the bonnet would one cough & splutter in the sunshine. Help much appreciated. Ro…

Hello. I have fitted upgraded turbos and was wandering if there is any way of checking the pressure in them myself or does it have to be done in a garage, and can you adjust the pressure? Cheers for any comments. Paul.

If anyone is thinking of coming down and watching then it may be useful (please check with bookatrack people about this as I'm not sure what their spectator policy is). I will be coming up the M3 and filling up at Fleet Services, if anyone is coming from that direction and wants to meet up from there then drop us a line. at rcjenkins@derestricted.net ------- Forwarded from John Branigan -------- Everybody needs to be at Bentwaters airfield by 9.30am so that you can sign on. Ask the security guard to point you towards the cafe or if the cafe is shut just tell him you are there for the track day. I will be at the BP garage at South Mimms services off juncti…

Does anyone know if we can take a passenger in the car! Do we have to tape the up glass from collision/vibration breakage! Are the cars have a basic scrutinisation! And I hear Silverstone do a 1 day bodywork insurance, for road cars on booked track days if so how much! and what about dog tags for the Saint Johns! If the cars minimum requirment is to be road leagal to get there can we use slicks or I/meds on the track! And whose briging the BBQ! harve.

Hi, I thought that my battery was on the way out as I have had difficulty starting my Z for the past 4 to 5 days but I think it may be the starter or more specifically the soleniod. Some times when trying to start I just get a tick tick tick sound from the starter, but if I turn the key all the way back and try again it will start(without waiting as you do with a flat battery). Anyone got any idea, it doesn't always do it either. Cheers

I posted a message the other night (a few threads down) asking what sort of price I may be able to get for my Z if I decide to sell her. I know it's subject to many factors, but can't anyone here in the know inform me of a ballpark figure? I need to make the decision quick, cause if she goes then I have to organise another in time for the Trax event. Thanks to those of you who responded with valuable info on the differences... all your comments have edged me further in the direction. Mine really is an absolute dream.. but if she can bring me back a good price then I'll go for it. There's 2k worth of audio in there so surely that must help... but if not, it could …

A pal of mine is looking for some Jap muscle. Having seen lots of tatty cars at various import places I really want to find him a well sorted car. He was after Hairsy's car which has now gone but that's the sort I'm after for him. Do any of you know of a well sorted Mitsi 3000GT's, Supra TT or 300ZX TT for sale. It has to be a good one and he will pay if it's worth it. Your help as always is appreciated. Simon P.
