I'm thinking about buying a 300zx non turbo. I didn't know they made them until I saw this one. The power isn't as good but the price is. Everybody tells me I'm a lunitic for even considering it. Can anyone help me? Is the car as good as the turbo one? ps. any other information will be helpful.

I Just bought a 300zx Twin Turbo 3 days ago , She is a real beauty and i am chuffed !!! as i've wanted one since i was a wee lad ! anyway i've noticed that the air con doesn't work as it is blowing warm air in even when it set to 10 . I've taken it to a local garage he told me that the belt is missing and that the compressor is seezed ? and it's about £700 !!!! AGHHH (I knew it was to good to be true ), The small wheel that the belt goes around turns freely so how is it seezed ? Is he trying a fast one ? , Can anybody tell me how to check/test if it has seezed and also what does AMB stant for on the air con display. FINALY , What is the 0-60 and top speed for my model its…

Hi Changed the fuel filter on my Jap import today you get petrol all over however careful you are!!! Question: when removing the filter found long plastic tube insert in the petrol out side of the filter, reminded me of the same on my previous import 2 years ago, the Nissan filter does not come supplied with one so is it a jap thing or are you supposed to swop it over to the new filter? have left it out at moment runs ok ? ANY THOUGHTS? Jeff TT

Completely shot now....It had a hole in each tube at the bend before the mufflers, now as I look just before the bolts that connect the last section to the underbody section, its snapped....How many sections does the exhaust have? I have a feeling that its the downpipes, then the cat convertor section, then the last section to the silencers...I hope not!

I've found a local engineering company who will skim my warped slotted and cross drilled disks for £8.00 each. Sounds like a bargain to me.

Finally got my Z back today, I think they have fixed the hesitation problem, need to try it out a bit more first. They cleaned all the sensors/terminals setup the TPS sensor, and replaced the Fuel filter, is this a common thing?

I recently had 2 new temp sensors put in my Z as I was only getting 12Mpg. It now does around 19 but there seems to be a gurgling sound coming from the top left of the engine. It does it about 60% of the time, and when I phoned Aldershot Nissan knew what I was talking about straight away and said that all Z's do it and it is normal..... although it has never done it before, does anyone elses car gurgle.....? Also when I picked it up the Super HICAS light was flashing and when I took it back they said that the 'levels' were low and topped them up, since then it has dripped a small amount of oil, but they said that they will need to take some of my engine out to find the ca…

Hi all, I've been away for a while moving house and all that and in all the excitement realised my insurance is due. Here's the crack. 26 yrs old 1 accident last year (lost all no claims) 1 sp60 conviction many mods including body work, wheels, ECU (Mines), boost upgrade etc etc. Cat 1 alarm. Only Priveledge will insure me with the mods. Over 7 grand !!! Nobody else will touch me. Greenlight no longer insure imports. Can't get through to Adrian Flux. My flatmate bought an r32, 1991, NA 2 door coupe Skyline last december, its a 5 speed manual, now he reckons his skyline could kick my 1991, NA, 2+2, Auto ZX's ass...please tell, surely this is not true!!!! if so, I think his driving must suck cause we have put it to the test and the skyline lost!
