Appreciate your help concerning the cooling on an imported twin turbo, manual. Hoping to go to Stage 3+ and wondering if I should be thinking about Oil & Water cooling? I know the UK/European cars have larger/additional rads for keeping the engine cool (and a rad on the diff). What are the views on this and any recommendations. Thanks, Geoff

I bought an on board tyre pressure thing. It tells you what your current pressure is, temperature, and calculates what the pressure should be and taking into account the temperature. It is good, already it has detected a leaking value and one of my rears with too much air. Cost £140 including fitting, which I think is good value. I have seen some places who are selling it for £250 not including fitting.

Of .. no I won't be rude I need a pic of the left side (drivers) of the engine, showing the turbo, preferrably with heatshield off, and the associated water lines.. I'm trying to locate my water leak, and the manual isn't being terribly helpful (trying to relate those line drawings to real life when your head is crammed down the side of the engine.. not easy!).. Cheers.. Oh and if anyone has any tips on removing the aircon compressor, they'd be most appreciated too.. Az ------------------ Yes.. I know my back wheels *were* on backwards.. They're not now, 'k? ;)

Went out to the car this morning ready to do the IAA valve jobs. What do I find when I get to it? I find that the Offside Rear is flat. Took it off and there's a bloody nail through it Unfortunately the tyre is fairly new and the nail is next to the sidewall making it irrepairable - not that I'd repair it anyway!!! Biggest problem is the fact that the car is on 18s Now I've gotta spend a small fortune on a 265/35ZR18 tyre Is there any chance of sueing the council over the state of the roads cos my brother had EXACTLY the same problem last sunday (same tyre, same place). Oh well, good news is that when I removed the IAA assembly, it was quite obvious…

Was thinking about fitting the same bodykit to my 90TT. The guy in the shop said it would fit with a little bit of work. Looks CLASSY to me. The spoiler will really help keep the rear end planted and the scoop on the front should give the engine all the air it needs. Any one willing to help me fit it. Tim No seriously saw this on the way up to Billing. Got more photo's if anyone is interested. Tim

does this sound right? I'm clueless about ecu's lol JWT ECU upgrade chip for any nissan 300zx 1990-1992, manual transmission. This is only the chip not the entire ECU. The stock nissan ECU must be "socketed" before you can install this chip. An electronics shop or speed shop can probably do this. You will also need boost jets (or welding tips) or a boost controller in order to increase boost as desired.

Mine has a recent new stereo fitted but the rear speakers fitted were crap with gaps around them - obviously not original. I just fitted some decent 7X5s at the back and spotted the stock rear speaker amplifier. This had been bypassed. Anybody know if its worth using it or chucking out to save weight? -Also what output does it have?

Fixed my water leak (I think), but now my aircon compressor clutch (I think) has given up.. Basically, if I switch on the aircon, I get a moaning noise (very loud!) coming from the area of the compressor.. Kinda like belt squeal only a lot lower.. Sound like the clutch, or the compressor? Trouble is coz I get so much water coming in (grr) I need to use the demister quite a bit (sighs) Az ------------------ Yes.. I know my back wheels *were* on backwards.. They're not now, 'k? ;)

Hi guys have spent all day under my zed removing the two middle boxes and the restricter and replacing with straight pipe inserts.Firstly i was gob smacked to find the internals in both boxes had collapsed and were trying to make their way down to the tailpipes. Also the material was like metal swarf like shavings..weird.I had thought the exhaust had a muffled sound to it, I wonder how many of us have had this prob without knowing. The upside is that after a test run the car is only marginaly louder but has defo increased in power. The boost is quicker to rise and I will now have to change the size of the boost jets as there is too much boost now for reliable performance.Oh …

OK, ever since I put in my aftermarket head unit (Pioneer DEH-9100R) the leccy aerial no longer goes up and down.. Figured that was because it wasn't attached to the head unit So.. Got a plug from Maplin, and wired it up to the *thick* aerial wire... Couldn't pick up any stations, no up & down aerial action.. Wired it up to the *thin* aerial wire, now I have radio (FM & AM), but no leccy aerial action, so I assume it's running off the rear windscreen one.. Question is - what made the stock aerial go up and down!? There don't appear to be any non-connected wires to the stereo or anything like that.. Anyone know? Cheers Az ----…
