Just wanted to know if any of you have gotten rid of your space-saver and replaced it with those "tyre-weld" canisters in case of a flat? I'm thinking of getting a couple of those canisters but will it actually fill a 245 size rear tyre enough to get to the nearest petrol station for some air? Anyone have any experiences (good/bad) with them? Thanks! Danny

Have you seen the indiglo dials that are being developed in the US??? They look fantastic. This pic is of the day but he said that we will get a picture of them at night soon. When he makes them for the UK TT I'm buying. Am sure if we get a few we could get some money off. Is there anywhere where we can buy them here? Stuart

Does anyone here know if off-timing has any influence on mpg's? I'm guessing that my timing is off (need to find someone with a timing kit)after having the timingbelt replace a few months back. I'm also noticing that my exhaust pipes are turning black ... possibly related? All of a sudden my mpg seems to have gone out the window. I just got back from Oxford (80mile journey) doing a very steady 75mph (on cruise control) and still went through more than a quarter of my tank! Seems excessive as I used to be able to get to London on that amount. Just seems odd to me ... Later! Danny

Since having installed a ZCentre provided kph->mph speed converter my odometer has been acting up. It'll work fine for 40-70 miles and then stop. Everything else is functioning normally. Usually it works again after turning the engine off, letting the car sit for a while and then turning the engine back on. However, I've been driving the past two days without the bloody thing working and it is really starting to annoy me. Any suggestions? I have already looked at the back of the speedo binacle and all the connections seem fine. Cheers guys! Danny

The sideskirts on me TT (the bit with little dents in it) is dirty and looks pants. Tried to clean it with regular warm water and some car shampoo but no dice! Can anyone suggest a way that actually works ... coz right now I feel like sandblasting them. Also, why the hell did nissan make the bottom half with dents in them ... As always your comments are most appreciated. Cheers! Danny

What is the best way of cleaning your engine bay ? I have had it suggested that you can just Jet-Wash it, surely this cannot be correct ? or is it Jest-Wash, GROAN !!! Herman

Hi peeps, I've been visiting this forum for about two months now, but haven't noticed anybody in or around Ipswich, in tractor land (Suffolk, or is that Suffarrrrk ) Where I'm currently working there are three other Zed drivers, all standard UK models except for a nice (slightly modded) Import. Anybody here? I must admit, I've been slightly drawn into this forum. Originally I stumbled across it via a Google search, I had a nose, and found a whole bunch of other people who've experienced almost every problem I've encountered whilst owning the Z. Some of you having much more greif than I'm having: Az for example. Its nice to see a female Z driver on…
