For thorese that know How can a single exhaust system be of any benefit of a dual system. Surly restricting the flow of exhaust gases would be detremental to power. Not wanting to raise any conflict, as mine has the single exhaust. Also is there a kit for the back that compliments the lack of exhaust better than the original. Mark

Gents, Has anyone got any old brake pads or disks that still have a little life on them (as in a couple of months), that they are willing to sell. I'm basically after the cheapest pair i can get so i can get the car running safely until i get the money to sort it right out. My discs are pretty dead even though the pads are ok but they might need deglazeing. Any offers??

On the power upgrade path after stage 3 (intake, exhaust, ECU), the next step appears to be a Boost Controller. The JWT ECU comes with Boost Calibration Jets. Does the Boost Controller replace the Calibration Jets? What is the advantage of a Boost Controller? Are there different types, and which ones do what additionally, etc...? The JWT calibration jets limit the boost to 12.5 bpi (13.5 bpi flash). On a stock engine, it is "normal" to keep things down to under 1 bar - if so, what does a Boost Controller offer, etc...? Any help, advice or pointers on this subject would greatly help my understanding. This is a grey area for me. Thanks, Geoff

Im going to look at a set of alloys this w/e. The size of the alloys is 9x18 all round. Basically, I know they are fine for the rear but am not sure if they are to wide for the front and therefore will effect the handling of the car greatly? Can anyone advise on this/ had experience of 18x9j on the front? Called a couple of alloys wheel shops, however am getting various answers? Cheerz

Basically my car was broken into in a carpark where I have to pay to use. I though that they paid the damage because they gave me a claim form for them, once I sign it I never see it again, so what was the point of that I never know. They have now told me that I have to pay for it. I did find a sign saying that they are not responsible for the damage unless there is any niglect by them. At the time of my car being broken into the Security Gaurd was in his hut. Also there 2 cameras in the carpark but one points at the hut and the other one points at about 10 car parking spaces, next to the hut. Could I claim of them saying that the gaurd Niglicted his duties and the …

Hey guys! Well Im new to this board and I have a couple of questions for ya. I currently own a 1990 MR2 Turbo, we just brought a 1994 supercharged Toyota Trueno for my missus. Only problem is while we both love the Trueno we have problems! Turns out there are some faults that I didn't know about and to cut a long story short I will probably be getting my $ back! The Trueno was a manual and while I know it's sad the missus was going to learn to drive it (She only drives autos!) she cant! She wants an auto. Anyways she ALWAYS love the 300ZX but because we wanted the twin turbo model (Her old man wouldn't let her!) we never bothered. Now we are thinking a Non …

Greetings all, I've had my Z for about 9 months now (stock 93 TT auto), it's had a couple of problems but nothing thats stopped me loving it....yet! One thing that's been niggling me though is the lock-up on the autobox, it seems to do it at the wrong speeds and at the wrong times?! It's more annoying than a problem - other than that the car drives great. Anyone heard of this or is it my imagination? Cheers, Jules. PS. Excellent site, read the tips on cleaning the TB's - worked a treat!

Yep, it arrived.. OK now I know it's anyones guess as to how accurate it is right now, since my Renault has never seen a dyno in its life, but I tested it tonight (handy sliproad!), pumped in the various figures you need (gear ratios, car weight, drag coefficient, frontal area, air temp, humidity, pressure, tyre size), and ran the test.. Came out with 127hp at the wheels, assuming ~15% drivetrain losses that would be 149bhp at the crank - stock is 137bhp, I have a filter, straight through exhaust, and hill power chip, which is probably ~10 or 15hp over stock tops, so I reckon it's not that far out really.. here's a pretty graph; http://www.mind-design.co.uk…
