did ecu diagnostics over the weekend and the first of the 02 sensors came back as faulty, light was not flickering, didb't even come on. In the near future thinking of decatting the exhaust and wondered where the sensor lives in relation to the cats. How easy is it to replace the sensor and whats the cost/best place to purchase. Any help appreciated. MCZX ps realise that this maybe in the wrong place.

Last time I bought a bulb I paid ~£34 from Middlehurst, and at that price I was never likely to upgrade the bulbs. 2x 30% brighter bulbs £15.98, connectors £1.09 = night vision. Thanks MCZX

I was looking on the HKS USA website at a very tasty looking carbon and titanium exhaust for the 300 and I was wondering does anyone know if they are available for the 2+2 twin turbo as the american turbo model is a two seater only?. Also how come the american 300zx, which (and I could be wrong on this) has extra exhaust restrictions due to pre-cats and is set to run on lower octane fuel than the UK model,(92 as opposed to 95) pushes out 300bhp and responds better to mods (it seems) than the Uk/japan models which push out 'only' 280bhp? hello all, I know I'm getting too old for this, but I had a head to head with a Subaru RB5 (or whatever theyre called) tonight on the motorway (both cars were alongside each other at the lights and we took off from a rolling start) and the subaru simply destroyed my Z,pulling a good 10-12 car lenghts on me up to about 100mph, at which stage the Z held him and gradually started to catch him, but sanity on both our parts meant the race was called off at 120mph, and with a flash of his hazards he pulled off. All I could see modified was an oval exhaust... what the hell happened? are Zs really that slow? Brian

Having been inspired by someone on here who said changing those drippy silicone filled bushes for the Superflex ones was a doddle and achievable on 1 and a half hours, today the sun came out, it went above zero and I went for it. Got one side done in 2 hours. Bitch is gettin the bolt out of the bush cos it wants to go where the intercooler plumbing is maybes an NA can be done quick! The old bush is pretty squidgy - anybody got drippy ones get them fixed now. So got the bolt out by pulling the arm at an angle allowed by said wobbly bush. There is a squeeking noise coming from one of my wheels of my car. I think its only happening when I am turning slightly. It sounds very much like when you squeeze one of those squeeky toys slightly. Its not like long squeek, its like bouncing on a bed. Any one any idea what it is? Stuart

One for the I.T guys. I have just got hold of a 128 mb compact flash card for my Kodak 3400, it was previously used in a canon camera (not sure which type). I can read and write to it with the usb reader but my camera cannot access it and just powers down. I have tried formatting it but with no success. I suspect that the Canon and Kodak cf formats are incompatible. Is there any way to completely trash everything on the card including all partition info and formatting as the manual for my camera says it will automatically reformat a new blank card. The other problem is that since I can only access the card via the usb reader I cannot use any dos apps. Thanks. …

My ABS Light is on. I know that one of my ABS sensors isnt working but now the light is on and the ABS completly stopped working. What could have happened. Could it be my dying front ABS sensor finaly biting the dust. Stuart

i posted a few weeks ago that my hicas light was on and that you could start the car with wheels in the center and turn the wheel all the way right with out the licht coming on but if you turnes the wheel to the left you could only turn it a 1/4 of a turn then the light came on and it would not go into diag mode today i started up light came on then i stalled it (ups) started the car up again and light didnt come on for 2 min and now it is opersit you can turn the wheel al the way to the left and it will stay off but you turn it 1/4 of aturn to the right and the light will come on do you think that it could be air that has got in to the system or a faulty component t…

My son bought me some lights for crimbo the small blue ones you can buy from halfords thay are all fitted and just had 1 wire to connect last night but was dark so i tryed to do it this morning and after about 3 hours of swering and coursing i still havent don it i want thae to come on when i put full beam on and not to be on on dipped beam so its easy or it is on every other car you just connect the wire which comes out of the relay (got prewired kit free) and connect it to the wire that goes to the main beam bulb but there are two wires that go to the bulb and they are always live weather the main beam is on or the dipped beam and these wires go to the bulb as far as i …
