I jus got into a race with a Supra today, my body work is not done yet, but can't resist taking it out for a spin =T anyways it was barely sprinking and the road was a lil wet, pulled upto a supra tt at a redlight, reved the engine, and had a go, we hit about 70mph and got an entire 5 car lengths ahead, of course it helped that he peeled out a bit too much at the start hehe, but a kill is still a kill

I've got a manual TT & the front half of the propshaft appears to have something loose inside it! It appears to be something that slides up & down the inside of the prop. Is this normal? Shaun

...any body got any experience of replacing the rear rubber mount on an auto transmission. I ask because I've replaced the centre bearing, and rotated the prop to diff through 90 degree increments, and the vibrations are still there. It's worse after the car has been standing for a couple of days, which could suggests it's the rubber mount sagging (maybe it gets back into shape with use). I'm not sure whether it needs replacing as I've been told the auto mounts don't take the same stick as the manual mounts, so last much longer. ...any body got any experience, as it's an expensive part to replace if there's no improvement. thanks Jack

Just recently had ye olde gurgle, drained the water out, returned, so took the whole thing off and split the air filter and reed assembly to find the insides just utterly rotten and beyond repair. Thing is I would like to know the consequence of leaving the A.I.V off (what is it's purpose FFS).By the way it's the passenger side but If it's Ok to remove it I'll take the other one off on the driver's side....... thanx for any ideas...

There is this guy (owner of a club) in my city with a brand new Ferrari Modena and yesterday while i was driving on my way home i saw him coming from my mirror. He was coming slowly slowly, so i slow down hoping that we can both get to the red light side by side and try and challenge him a bit. So I was lucky enough to have him next to me. At the red light. No cars in front of us for about one Km. I turn on the boost controller and I open my window and I ask him if we wanted to race. He smile and he shake his head saying no no... The result he didnt hit it. He just took his mobile and start talking. Man...I knew I was about to get smoked if he did but it …

I have a '91 import, manual, 300zx TT. It has done close to 60K miles and has developed an odd vibration. The vibration starts dead on 40mph and doesn't get any worse or any better at any speed over this. When the speed drops back below 40mph again, the vibration stops. I have had all the wheels balanced, the prop shaft and drive shafts have been checked and are ok. The gearbox mounts are fine and so are the diff mounts. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be causing this problem ?

Does ne1 have a standard nearside rear shock that I can borrow for a few weeks or buy cheep. Jap 1990 TT 2+2 auto. The one on mine is COMPLETELY knackered, no oil so NO damping - Its all leaked out - It just bounces on the spring. The car is bouncing and skipping around all over the place. Dangerous to drive at the mo. I need an interim shock (or complete strut) that I can use until I receive my new Koni's. I'm not worried about replacing both as its only going to be for a few weeks. Also, If anyone is willing to swap it over for me for a small fee(I've already stripped out the boot panels for easy access. Cheerz Andy

My fuel filter (assuming thats what is is, it's the siver thing with pipes in and out, top RHS of engine bay from front) does something a little odd, and just wondering of anyone gets the same.. Ever since I've had the car, it seems to make a pretty obvious 'gurgling' noise - you can hear it from both inside and out. Has always done this, but now seems to be getting a little worse. Anyine had the same?? Is it time to go Mr Bank Manager??
