...explain this one. I have discovered something on my Z that I think is not quite right so try and follow me. I'm coming up to a junction at 50 in 3rd or 4th. I decelerate apply the brakes gently then a with a little more pressure whilst changing in to 2nd. Now this is where the fun begins. If just before engaging 2nd gear I turn the wheel in either direction so that the car is ever so slightly turning, hence off balance, when 2nd is engaged, I get a very nasty pendulum effect, first in the opposite direction to which I have turned and then it snaps back to the other side.(Very off putting and cause much nagging from the wife) If this makes any …

My brake warning light keeps coming on. It's not the ABS light (my ABS doesn't work anyway...) - it's the red one that sort of looks like this... ((!)) The brakes feel OK and there's enough fluid in the reservoir. Any clues? Ta.

Nice ... are these available in the UK ? You are bidding on a 300ZX Turbo spoiler. The spoiler is brand new still in the box. It is a replica of the factory style 1994 300ZX Turbo spoiler. It comes with a LED brake light and is primed and ready for painting. If you want it factory color matched just add $125. If you have any questions or comments please call us at 780-440-6017 or e-mail us at aerocarparts@home.com Looks like it's gonna start around $280 CDN, so that must be something like £120, plus shipping etc etc ....

Pretty quiet today, guess many of you are still off work ! Anyway, for the tweakers, tuners, fiddlers and the just plain curious there are some online/downloadable applications for working out turbo sizes, efficencies etc. Here is one from the warmer side of our planet right now :- http://www.turbofast.com.au/turbomap.html

Hi Everyone, Got a bit of a problem with my Z... the front drivers-side brake caliper has seized up. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? My car is a 91 UK Spec, they look like they are made of aluminium (IIRC there were 2 different versions of calipers in 91?) Also, is there a technique to getting the brake hoses off the caliper? They are on well tight! I really want to get this fixed - I miss driving! Cheers!

I've now sold loads of parts I was trying to sell from my dismantled 300Zx twinturbo. I still have a lot of useful parts left that I'm sure people will ask for over the next couple of months. I also have loads of stuff that people probably won't ask for. If you've got somewhere to store loads of parts, then read on. I'm willing to sell all the bits that I don't think will sell quickly for a combined price of £30. Yep, 30!! For a full list of these bits see the for sale/wanted section. I live 15 mins from M25 (Dartford Tunnel area) and all the stuff will fit easily in an average car. Only rule is you have to take the whole lot (to free up space in my garage)…
