If anyone's interested, there is a 91H 300ZX for sale in a garage in Sutton-under-Whitestonecliff (longest place name in England - official!) on the A170 near Thirsk in North Yorks. Metallic Red/Burgundy, £5995. I don't have any other details as I am not on speaking terms with the garage owner. I bought my S13 200SX from him 2 years ago. Be warned, he not only sells the most expensive petrol in the UK (lots of records in this village!) he is a the**ing b****** when it comes to servicing/ repairs! Car looks cool though - envy

Morning all! Just a final reminder to let everyone know that the meet planned for tomorrow (noon in Solihull) is definitely on - come rain of shine, hell or high water, or indeed snow! So far it looks like we'll have a very good turnout and I look forward to seeing you all there. Details of location, time and contact numbers are in the "upcoming events" section of the forum. To all of you who are coming, see you tomorrow. To all of you who can't make it: have a very Merry Christmas with your friends and family and stay tuned for some pics after the weekend! Cheers! Danny

Heres the problem with my 91, NA 2+2 Z (Auto) 1) When I first start it in the morning, sometimes I have to turn the key about 3-4 times to get it started, (Not Always) 2) In the mornings when I get it started, I put it in reverse to back down my driveway, the revs drop down to about 400, it feels like the car is gonna stall, kinda flutters for a few seconds then the revs rise and all is fine Any ideas guys?

Finally everything is ready. After installation I asked the mechanic to drive it first and tell me his comments. We are at about 60Km and he hits the gas. Wooowww...Spinning and accelerates like maaad. He sais to me he can believe that the car behaves like that. I couldnt wait to drive it myself. Ok here i am inside the car and I press the gas slowly and the car feels like before. I am at about 2RPMS and hit the gas....At that time I thought that this is not my car. How in the hell it changed like that. It builds up boost so quickly and jumps like mad. The Converter is much smaller than stock and much lighter and stall speed 3000RPMS... …

Hi guys, I'm in the market for an aftermarket exhaust for my Z and was wondering how much power do the scarab exhausts that Luke sells in the Z centre yield? how do they compare with the likes of Stillen/HKS? are they 2.5" or 3" pipes? Thanks for any help, Brian

Ok heres the story............... yeah yeah bet u can all imagine the sounds of a harp as i recall it, ANYWAY........ before i bought this 300 (my second) i had an advanced check by the AA. The guy couldnt fault the car and said if i was looking for a 300 ZX then this was the one to buy. BONZAI!!!! Last week i had it serviced and had a general health check... all pipes hoses fuelling- basically everything on the car and it cost me a fair bit. Im currently running 14 psi boost at the moment and have a lot of performance enhancing mods. My cars running a tad over 400 bhp at the mo. Coming home 2 nite and giving her a bit of stick with my mate in his MR 2 turbo giving chase …

I recently purchased a "slightly used" after mkt exhaust. It was of a 91TT and mines a 93TT. Took it to the exhaust shop to get it fitted. Chap at the shop said the back boxes will fit fine, however the middle section would not go on as it was from a 91 model and mine had CAT's there??? Is this correct, and if so what shall i do with the CAT's? Leave them or cut them out and get him to put pipes straight thru? I know this subject has been visited b4 but.... Any considerations? CheerZ
