I have had a reply back from Veilside in the USA.. Their lawyers are going to get involved. It may not help people who have already bought cars but may atleast stop the misuse of the name and misleading people...

After fitting my amp & subs on Sunday I was so pissed off with the injustice that the terrible front speakers were doing to my otherwise pukka sounding system that I bought myself a set of JBL 2 ways today. So desperate was I to get them in that I started fitting them in the rain. Passenger side - no problem, but the drivers side - how the hell do you get the trim panel off? It seems to still be attached by the window switch bit, I've had to put it together again for tonight, but am gonna give it another go again tomorrow, any ideas where that last screw holding it all together is?

Uk spec tt . Low beam replacement bulb not working. Have bought a lucas replacement however how do you replace it?. The old one seems to be soldered to a different metal covering. The end of the lucas bulb has what looks like a place for a spade terminal. Is it a simple case of removing the soldered wire from the old bulb and crimping a spade connector on it and simply sliding it on ?

OK - I saw a picture ages ago, and I could have sworn it was on Eric (Lymon)'s or Maciej's (Z Viking) website... basically, it was an oil cooler, attached to the back of the radiator.. And I'll be damned if I can find it! I was considering doing the same with mine you see, since it seems quite a nice way of installing it without having to put a million brackets in place.. But, I can't think how to attach the two together, really needs something to pass through the veins, but with spacers to keep the two items apart by 1/8" or so.. Any ideas? Basically I'm struggling making the bracket to hold my (rather large) oil cooler on in the normal place - it's a bit …

My starter motor housing snapped about a month ago, so I phoned Intapart for a price on one, £60+carriage+vat. I managed to glue mine back together until it came apart again today. I phoned Intapart to order the startmer motor and the lady tells me £100+everything, so I told her I was quoted £60+. She askes me to hold on and the manager gets on the phone and tells me the price is now £100. I told him the guys name and tel. ext. who quoted me the original price and the manager tells me it's my word against his and I'm making it up that I phone before. I know some people have had good service from these people, but I just think the manager has a shit attitude!! Vi…

I can't find anyone that still supplies the AB Flug Bumper & Headlight kit that I have (or did have until it got smashed). I'm sure I originally saw it on Takakaira.com under AB Flug but its not there anymore! There is one that looks like it but it doesn't have the thinner "Porshe" side lights so its not the one. It was originally on the site for about £1550 (complete kit). It may have been discontinued. I need to find it fast guys before the insurance co replace it with a stock one. Warren, you know every Z contact on this planet? Help Andy

Hi All, I contacted Veilside concerning a 300. Kind of glad i didn't judging by some of the postings on here.. I have one question though. I heard that Veilside in Japan and the States is a very good Tuning Company with a good reputation. I take it they are in no way linked with the company in the UK? And if this is the case are these people allowed to trade under this name? Just a thought..

When I brake hard I get steering vibration, which gets worse the harder I brake, so I’m thinking the front disks are becoming warped. I’m going to use this opportunity to upgrade the disks; can anyone recommend a suitable replacement for use with the original calipers? CheerZ Herman

My '91ZX has gradually suffered from a reduction in the number of miles I get from the rear tyres, until now its down to only a few thousand miles. Has anyone suffered anything similar, I have tried different makes of tyres but found only a negligible difference, with last set being Pirellis only giving me 2000 miles. Ash My driving is mainly motorway and in rush hour traffic, so isn't anything too ridiculous !!

Something on the interior trim of my Zed has been rattling like a b@st@rd recently and driving me absolutely insane and this weekend I finally fixed the little sucker - hurrah ! There were two problems, firstly the upper rear seat belt mountings have a metal plate through which the webbing runs, this was vibrating and causing one of the rattles. I removed the bolt and put a thin rubber o-ring in just to take up the slack. Secondly, in the boot, the cover for access to the rear lights had become loose over the years and so I used an inch or two of that 5mm thick sticky draught insulating stuff (that normally goes around window frames), once again to take up the slack…
