Hi all, Having been to the AutoSport exhibition at the NEC last Friday I saw a fair amount of aftermarket mirrors with integrated indicators (a la Merc). Most of them were M3 stylee jobbies but I did see a couple of other types as well. Unfortunately none look like they will be a simple replacement for our standard Z mirrors. This reminded me that quite a few months ago I saw a pic on this forum of a Zed (in Japan)with standard mirrors but with integrated indicators Does anyone else remember seeing that pic and if so can you point me in the right direction as to where to find the real thing. I'm not interested in non-standard mirrors (like the M3 type). Thanks…

Just wondered if someone would like to have a look at http://www.mind-design.co.uk/atf_cooler.htm and tell me what they think of the style of the article? I know it's not quite complete yet - no pictures and I haven't done the diagram of the brackets, but let me know if you (so particularily non-techies here ) can follow my style of writing etc.. Did I make it too technical, not enough detail, etc etc.. Oh yeah - comments on the website in general are also welcome.. I think.. Cheers Az [This message has been edited by aaronjb (edited 13-01-2002).]

Just like lots of people here my TTAuto has what feels like a transmission vibration around 40 -50mph most noticable when very cold such as after a week or two idle. This vib seems to almost go when warm. I've seen people write about centre bearing, gear box mount sag, turning shaft throught quarter turns and others moving to a one piece shaft. Even tension rod bushes have been blamed. Has anybody got to a true fix without going to a one piece or is this one of those Z problems that you have to learn to live with?

Hi, Was wondering if anyone has changed the kingpin bearings in their car? Just wondering if there is anything particularly awkward about it. Cheers

After re-fitting my ECU the Z is dead! On turning the key the red diagnostic LED comes on and stays on. Is this right or should it go off/flash? I replaced the ECU chip with another (known good) chip but it didn't work. Tried putting the original back and it's still the same. I've done this a few times before with no problems. I hope it's just a loose wire somewhere...

I bought my alarm for my car a Meta M99 to go with my Meta M36 T2 imobiliser, to up it to a CAT 1 Alarm/imobiliser. The imobiliser was already on the car when I bought it, so that is why I went for that alarm. Any way, I had it put in, great, there are a few features that I would like to have on it, like a panic button to set the alarm off when people are near it. Kids mostly. But there isnt one. Anyway. I get my car with the alarm fitted, but straight away I notice that there is very little room near my pedals. The air vent that keeps your feet warm had dropped and I had to use my toes to drive. This was also the same on the passenger side. It has dropped slightly s…
