I have loved the look of these cars from the age of 14 when I saw my first 300 shooting up the M1. Now I have the money and have started to look but what things should i be looking for e.g. leaking roof

I'll take a pic of this tonight but; On the left side of the intake manifold, there are two metal vacuum gallerys, which go to the AIV solenoid and EGR solenoid. Connected to the other end of these galleries are two rubber hoses, one goes to the underside of the throttlebody, and the other goes to the plastic intake pipe (that goes from airbox to turbo).. Can anyone tell me which is which? Does the intake pipe go to the AIV or to the EGR solenoid? Same Q for the one off the throttle body.. Thanks Az

OK people. Having seen the massive rise in the past month of the membership I thought it was time we did another location list. Best way to describe where you are is probably to use your nearest motorway junction - if you aren't close to the motorway then maybe nearest big town or city? I'll kick it off with me being J28 M6. Over to you guyZ CheerZ, Andy ------------------

If you know of someone who has a 300ZX with a couple of faults or dents etc, I need one to dismantle. I've sold 3/4 of the parts from my Z, and wouldn't mind doing it all over again. I've got £2500 to £3200 to spend on one, depending on how bad it is. Cheerz AndyZ (geewhizz@onetel.net.uk or 01634 221783)

300zx TT import '91 Now when I got the car one of the lasting impressions was how crap the brakes were. As i was intending to up rate them I wasn't overly concerned. However the car began making a sqweeking noise and the brakes got worse. Now the car is no longer making the noise and the brakes are now as I would expect - not great but I can stop without having to open the door and use the sole of my feet. I have no intention of fidling with my new found braking ability - but wondered if there was a reason for the chane around and if it is a sign of a fault which I can fix. Mark

Had this problem for a while now folks... When asserting a "medium" amount of preasure on the stop pedal, there is a loud squeeeling noise which sounds like it's coming from the foorwell area. It aint the brakes themselves cos i can get it to do it whilst stationary... any ideas? Also.... anyone know where i can get a temp sensor, cheap, in the Preston, Lancs area?
