Just been out for a blast in my Z for the first time in a few months. I've been driving a cavalier during the salty months. Spring like day, dry road. Hit the lanes round my way and jesus, i'd forgottemn how fast the Z is. Kid and his dad behind me in a yellow maestro van trying to figure out what the car in front is, then as the road frees up disapearing into the distance. Absolutely flying and only half throttle. ive got an imported zed, the center consol has been made into one large popening the center bar removed but there,s nothing behind it just a gaping hole whats needed to fit new hi-fi etc, cheers

I have quoted £32.00 for Jap spec front brake pads(2) for TT If any one else requires standard pads @ this price let me know . Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

Can anybody tell me if my origial z spoiler which is made of hard rubber be resprayed again. Problem is paint work on it has flaked off, a few body work guys have told me its the water thats got into the spoiler thats caused it. What should i do??? Replace it with a different spoiler??? Any body know where to get different style spoilers for the zed???

IGNITION TIMING.............. checked mine today 19 degrees BTDC, veilside ECU fitted. i think this is why mine was detonating when running 12 psi of boost, it would only run 10 to 11 psi without detonation. i have now reset it to 14 degrees. will try to put in smaller boost jets if i can sort out my high idle problem. TPS..................... mine has also started to run fast idle 1800rpm never dropping back any lower. done a voltage check today, running 9.73v when turning clockwise it goes to 13.08v no in between, turned off engine switched ignition to on so lights lit on dash but not running, loosened screws moved fully in both directions 9.71v lowest readin…

I got so interested in JeffTT's upgrade I just spent an hour shivering outside, playing with the lights and poking around under the bonnet. Geez I hope none of my bulbs blow as I don't have a hope of changing them. Anyhow, my various proddings have sparked off a couple of q's which are vaguely tech so am posting them here. Are there any pipes with 4 BIG upturned "DTM" style outlets?

why would someone decide to change to org exhaust and put 1 5zegga 4'pipe on it.does this help the performance, or not,.exhaust comes down right hand side,from left hand middle pipe under middle of car.,other bit may be caped off i can't see.(if you can understand what i mean....

Ordered a PTU from Courtesy at 1am on the 26th and it arrived 9am today, 28th! I was expecting to wait at least a week. Cost £156.00 including carriage and I got past customs without paying any tax. Nissan UK wanted £320.00 Well impressed. Just need to fit it and hope it cures my problems. Anybody want it if it doesn't fix things?

Guys, it seems the ever faithfull Royal Mail may have lost the last item i need to finalise the Indiglo gauges for us all, a bog standard ste of gauges, must be UK spec though, who can help ? The person who does, will recieve a very large discount on their set or rewarded in some other way, but please be quick, the manufacturer is standing by waiting. cheers smithy

Have recently discovered a wierd 'problem' with my fuel gauge. When I run the car until the needle hits the bottom, (just before the low level light comes on) the trip meter and odometer stop working!!!! Every other instrument works, except these two. When you switch off the ignition, and start it up again, or fuel up, they start working again. Who else has this quirk?? I know how to keep the miles off me Z now though ROFL Regards RCD
