Hi All Going to look at what appears to be a nice Jap import very soon, but it doesn't have cruise control fitted. It's a '91 manual TT. Was this standard on these cars? If not, is it a major job to retro-fit it? Probably won't bother anyway, but I was more interested in whether it should be there and isn't for some reason... Thanks

it seems to me that people dont keep their zeds very long, perhaps not realising until its too late just how much these cars cost to run. so the question is how long have tou owned your zed? cheers steve me, well about 9 months

I've spotted a car that looks to be just what i'm looking for at the UK Importers club in liverpool. Anyone bought a car from them? They worth dealing with? Just on the off chance... do any of you guys live near liverpool? I was just wondering if any of you have seen the car of know anything about it. It's a G plate silver Manual TT and it's supposed to be in mint condition.

I have today sold my Zed (bah) for my asking price..and the missus talked me into a Volvo Estate ( for christ sakes)!!. Anyone who expressed an interest, im very sorry but she has now gone. Chris (one formerly happy Zed owner, now a member of the cloth cap and pipe brigade).:(

Just saw a lovely looking Grey 300zx in Euston, while I was coming back from the pub. Had standard arches, the same rear bumper as Iain's (Mac_1) with what looked like a GTR-Z front bumper and high wing arch rear spoiler. Licence was SGT, anyone in here ?

Dave Marley mentioned you might have some headlight bulbs left for sale. Its for my 89 300zx import ( bulbs have 2 prongs ) If you still have some any chance I could buy them off you?. If not could you let me know where you got them from as I urgently need some in case old bill pull me. Thanks Mark:D

Just a quicky.... Can anyone tell me where I can get a headlight bulb asap. I dont fancy getting pulled by the plod. Its an import 89 300zx and the bulb has 2 prongy things unlike the one in Harrys which had just one? Thanks a lot for any help recieved and merry xmas one and all. Mark:p

Been off with the flu but while i was away managed to sort my stereo,get a new Selca Cat 1 alarm and more importantly fixed the pull to one side on my steering. After having tracked it 3 times balanced the wheels checked the brakes i then changed the tyres,guess what it was the tyres,now it drives in a straight line no pull whatsoever!!!!!!!!! (Happy) Alex

Hello all, as I have only had my 1990 300ZXTT for a couple of weeks now I have been experimenting with different Fuels. I.E. standard unleaded and Shell Optimax. Inside the fuel flap it's got a sticker with 98 RON on it which is why I have tried Optimax (bloody expensive) I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they usually fill up with and if it makes a difference? Hi, next monday I'm having an engine oil change on the ZX. The milage is around 60,000 miles - is it worthwhile changing the auto gearbox oil at the same time?

What's your views on EBC brake pads. Are they better than the standard Nissan product. I heard recently they now recommend the red stuff for the zx tt, not the green stuff- has anyone else heard that?

Hi, Tried to start the 300 this morning but failed (deep dread started..) Anyway got home tonight and had a look at the car, found 2 harness conectors half off and one connector completely off on the drivers side of then engine block (about half way down) - dont know what it does, anyway as you expect after finding each problem and jumping back in the car - I expected it to start :( but NO! I saw the check engine light was on the dash, and when i switched the ignition on a could hear an electrical humming. Eventually found a broken wire in a harness connector - in the most inaccessible place possible - right in the middle of the engine block near the windo…

Hi all, had my ZX TT import for 2 weeks now and loving every minute of it. Apart from loosing the back end in the wet that is, will have to get the hang of that!! My Z has got 18inch alloys fitted and wondered what size tyres you could recommend I should have fitted. At the moment it has 265x40x18 on the back and 235x35x18 on the front. Think that's the right way round??? When I am driving round town etc the car feels fine but I have noticed that at higher speeds on motorway's etc (70-80ishmph) I always seem to be correcting the steering as if it's tramlining if that makes sense. It also seems to pull to the left and the tyre pressures are all spot on. Any advise would …

Is there such a think on Japan-spec Z car? And if yes how do you gutt them? I've heard that by doing this you gain up to 20 rwhp

Wouid I be right in thinking that the auto gearboxes can be converted to semi auto? If it can be done, what sort of cost? Only reason i ask is that i'm looking for a good Z right now and as you know most are autos. I'd prefer a manual but if an auto can be converted to semi-auto then i could happily live with it.
