Visited Elite wheels today and they were as useful as a chocolate teapot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the guy said was, the amount of wheels available for Z's in that size was limited, as if I didn't know that! So which make and model of wheels are available for the Z in 10x18 ? I did like a wheel that sounds like a German Porn Star, Leon Hardiritt, Bugle, LOL, but I didn't like the price!!!!

What's the main differences between these peeps ? I have a Jap Spec My left side is chipped. Can I fit a uk straight in or do I need to get a Jap spec ?

Finaly found a tool to get the bloody thing undone LOL. While I had the battery out, I found that a vaccum pipe had broken off. Andy P. You remeber we couldn't get the RMP below 1000 without disconnecting the O2 sensor, it was the same with the new sensor in, but then connecting this pipe back up, adjusting the tps to .40 I managed to get down to 750 rpm. It's a little lumpy at the moment I have reset the ECU so we'll see how it goes in a 100 miles or so. I'll come up this weekend and return your tool (oh-er) and swap those MAS's back over. I think mine is ok apart from the obvious missing mesh.

:D She is a 1990 Black Manual NA. Mileage is 50k and she looks like a clean example(hopefully). She will be in UK, in the first days of May I know the TT is faster and more fun, but that's all i could afford at the moment, due to other buys i did recently. Has anyone else had the misfortune of sliding their Zed into a large kerb and damaging the rear wheel, suspension and steering arm? If so, please could you let me know how much the bill came to? I've been quoted between £900 and £1200 so far. And Im not happy. Thanks Brian.

Some advice please: I have a j spec 1990 TT, when my fog lights are on I cannot see any indicator light on the dash board. 1) Sould there be a light on/in the switch? 2) Should there be a light on the light panel under the speedo? 3) If neither what have people done so as to pass the MOT since on is required?

I have been a member of this forum now for about 3months but i dont have a 'Z'!. But the first ever post I made on the forum was asking advice on 'importing a Z!!' Well I pick my 300zx on thursday!!! from Dover! - and i have never even sat in one, let alone drove one I drive a 998cc Austin metro at the moment!, and the 300zx is a TT manual. just wondering about people who have changed the dial faces on their clocks, how they did it. I've seen it mentioned that if it's done wrong (when the needles are removed), then that's it - the dials are screwed. Is there anyway of putting on the faces without removing any needles? Cheers Vijay

Hi folks, Just joined the ranks of 300zx owners this weekend. Having been envious of a friends '90 jap import non turbo for a good few months I couldn't resist when he gave me first refusal on it. Plan was just to keep it for the summer then sell it on but I'm already starting to feel it may be a much longer relationship than that!! Anyway, I've got a couple of little niggles with it you guys may be able to help me with. Firstly, the mirrors both wobble at speed. Is there an easy way to tighten these up or fix it. strange but true i have just got my car out of hibernation [oct 02] and found that it vibrates through the car on a nice flat road, The feeling is just like running over white line or rumble type lines? is this due to propshaft? and if so what is the best way to go and were can i get done locally if poss. Hi, I'm importing a few cars and one of them is a Black G reg Auto Twin Turbo. It's in imaculate condition and only has around 40,000 miles on the clock. I'm gonna put it onto Autotrader and other places, but I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what it was worth, I was thinkin around 5 1/2 grand cos of the condition and miles, and the fact is in original condition and spec. Anyway, what do you guys think? P.S it has a tv fitted, haha.

Hello guys, I need to load windows onto a laptop that has been formatted. The only thing is it hasn't got a floppy drive so I can't use a start-up disk. It has a cd rom and I've tried changing the setup to check cd first on boot-up, but it won't recognise any operating system. Any ideas? Cheers Vijay

I know a lot of people here have new or non-standard Turbo's in their zeds, what I'm trying to find out is; 1. What Turbo's have people gone for 2. Who did the work 3. How much it all costs? If I'm going to replace my turbo's (and according to Jeff mine are worn so I'm going to have to replace them one day) I want to make sure that a good job is done.. Had the usual suggestions of people like Abbey Motorsport and SE, but as usual turning to my best resource for advice... you lot and your experience! :)

Hi all, got both bulbs need replacing in the driving lamps at the front, already been told Halfords H1's are what I need so I have a pair of those.... but how do I go about removing the lights? Both screws idly turn at the front so I'm guessing there's a nut round the back? or am I doing this all wrong!??! :)

OOOO EERRRRRR Missus My TSW hockenheim wheels have got a centre plate with a large nut holding this covering plate on! Anyway this nut is seized and after many attempts with plus gas it is still locked on, any ideas!!

Im tempted to black out my rear lights as ive seen a couple with this done and like the look of it, however many years ago a friend tried this on his car and it was a disaster, ruining one of his lights, have any of you done this?? whats best to use?? eventualy i want to do the four light conversion but have a few more things further up the want list first,, any help gratefully recieved
