Quick question guys At the moment mine is running (in a broad sense) with a superchip.....i know there crap but i have ordered the greddy emanage which is a piggyback ecu so am i better putting a standard chip back on and over riding it with the greddy emanage or does the chip in the ecu not do anything once the emanage is working?? I am just thinking from a reliability point of view because alot of people slate the superchips for reliabilty but if it doesnt matter then i wont mess with it Cheers Kirbz

Ok, I know it sounds weird, but when pressing on the brake, even gently, once you build up enough pressure (not stupid amounts) the I can feel the brake pedal click and it'll drop about 1cm. Any ideas why this is happening? Here's a clue - it most probably has something to do with me changing all the pads yesterday :D Just trying to work out what I did wrong to sort it out tomorrow

Come on guys pick an option or throw down your thoughts... Hopefully I'll manage to do apoll right this time :) Cheers Ben

A mate has said about having a wider track on the front to the back might be a bad idea........is it best to space the rear aswell? I hadn't planned to. (my new wheels just catch the caliper) a 5mm spacer/shim will sort it. Cheers.

My Zed has been making a strange noise and has only surfaced in the last couple of days. The noise sounds a bit like a clock (tick. tock.) but the sound is not is sequence (ie, tick, tick, tock tick, tock etc.) Any Ideas?. Cheers. :)

as the title says - i know 14psi is the maximum that you should run an engine which doesnt have forged pistons. I would like to hear from anyone who is consistently running more that 14psi on a relatively standard engine. I was thinking about running 16psi - but i just dont know whether to risk it. Regards, Alex

Anyone on here done it and recommend a particular brand? The odd ball feeling of the rear end of the car floating that it gives is really starting to annoy me, kinda spooky when you're really pushing on, but worse at low speeds on roundabouts etc.

For those that have SBC-iD and PowerMeter-iD installed together in the DIN space below the head unit, how do you protect them from prying eyes? I tried covering them with an old Halfords DIN sized head unit cover but this doesn’t sit comfortably over the ID’s and keeps falling off. Are there any other covers available? Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Guys I'm thinking of getting a combined GPS/ Radar-Laser detector. Does anyone have any experience of the Snooper S6R Neo? I notice that the actual radar/laser detector unit is quite bulky, so I'd probably install it in the air scoop just below the number plate. It would be more descrete and the makers claim it's weather proof. Thanks Jon

I've been trying to replace my clutch today. Exhaust came off easily, so did the starter, managed to remove all the bolts out off the bell housing as well. I've now spent 3 f**king hours trying to wiggle the gearbox out...and i've brought it to the edge of the fly wheel. What the f**k have i missed? I'm following the tt.net guide on clutch replacement but the gearbox just won't come off. Is it better to disconnect everthing and take the gearbox out or it it just a case off wiggling some more? Should i have the gearbox dropped down on the jack or should i try to pull it off level? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Stu.
