I've not had the joy of playing with a NA 300zx, so just want to check with those more used to the view. Are these as I suspect some dirty ass phase 1 TT injectors or phase 1 NA injectors.

hi guys got a knock on my passernger side rear suspension, only really doses it when i hit potholes in the road, it almost sounds like strut is loose but i know the bolts are tight. current set up is kyb excell shocks (new less than 600 miles ago) with eibach 20mm lowering springs that i fitted last year so new gaskets on the strut tops too, i've checked all the bolts on the suspension and everything is tight, the problem has been there for a while and got worse/louder after fitting upper camber arms. is it possibly the strut top mount gone faulty? drivers rear corner is quiet as it should be.

Hi all Quick question, I will be back in the UK next month and I'm looking to get the 300 running. My car is a TT manual car which I bought as a shell so all of the wiring is for a manual, my engine is from my old TT auto and the box ( and sub harness) is a manual. I have a brand new wiring specialists loom for a tt manual. My question is the only ecu I have is from my old auto ( which was flashed by zed world), setting the base timing in an auto and manual is different as far as I remember ( due to the nutral switch). So do I now treat it as a manual or an auto or do I get a manual ecu. Once running I will be getting a proper map as I'm sure the tune is …

Over the winter my Z has had its engine and gearbox out, its all back together and so far so good. Except the gearstick seems to be leaning forward more than before. In neutral instead of straight upright (as I seem to remember) it leans slightly forward, when its in fourth it leans only slightly back and when in third it leans quite far forward. Am I missing something?? Thanks, Dan

Today's work on the car took an unexpected diversion when one injector died and another was reading 100 ohms!. So I popped my plenum pull cherry! You get to the point of thinking what the hell have I done! Now just reading up on the coolant bypass to make it easier next time, and trying to get all the bits ordered I need.

Managed to get my car running (not very well) after 3 years parked at a friends garage. It struggles to start and when it does it doesn't sound like it's running on all six and the idle is all over the place and it won't rev over 2500. When I try and demand a bit of power to move the car (even below 2500rpm) it pops and bangs and bogs down. I will remove the CAS this weekend if it stops raining and check for spark and injector click on all 6 cylinders but for the wondering idle and 2500rpm rev limit I suspect the AFM/MAF as unplugging it makes no difference to the idle or the running of the engine. Is there any way of testing the AFM with a multimeter or anything as …

Driving around Wilton Avenue in Winkney farm near Hampden Park yesterday and saw a Red OEM looking ZX. Very nice, although the paint looked a bit faded? I was doing "Loops" in my bus so I managed to get a 2nd and 3rd look later on my 2nd and 3rd loop! Was it you? Thats 4 ZXs in Eastbourne (plus 3 in Hailsham) now I know of. We might need to start an "Eastbourne and Area" cell in the South East division!

Car went into the garage today but as usual nothing goes to plan lol. Already got Nistune installed previously so today should have been the aem upgrade fuel pump and yellow 555 injectors. But, everywhere I try doesn't have a new upper intake/plenum gasket part number A4033-30P22, going to try MJP tomorrow as my last hope, was closed today by the time I called. The injectors need some kind of different connectors I believe, the guy mentioned some kind of Denso bottom feeder thing but I really don't have a clue lol, they are trying to source them, but can anyone here offer help?

I ordered some new custom seats today from Corbeau, After much debating back and forth to either keep the stock leather seats or change them for a more modern type, I finally decided on the Corbeau RRS seat's. A bit more than what I originally wanted to spend but after a lot of research in specs etc I decided these was the ones. Full leather with dark grey stitching with added adjustable lumbar support. They should look similar to these!

Mot today Now looking for a replacement drivers side cat Looking on ebay there are a lot of people selling new ones for around £130, however they all say .. All European (EU) cars (outside of the UK) must be fitted with a Type Approved catalyst, and all UK cars registered after March 2001(Y Reg) require a Type Approved catalyst. For this reason we will need your vehicle registration number before we can process any orders for catalytic converters. If we don't have your VRM we will have to cancel this order. Is this some sort of scam? Why do i have to give my registration to buy a cat? Surely if their product is legal then it doesnt matter what car i fit it…

Has anyone heard of the rear subframe not sitting central on the subframe bushings? I've just fitted new wheels with more offset than my previous set, so it's shown up the problem. One of the rear wheels is slightly further out the arch, noticeably so once you've seen it. I have adjusted the camber in slightly on the one that is further out but it now has more negative camber than the other side, yet is still poking out. Any ideas? Anyone had this before? I don't have adjustable lower arms, so it can't be that, only adjustable camber arms on the rear.
