I'm looking to get back into a zed and came across this one, it has an owners club sticker on the window, does anyone know anything about this car? It is a few miles from where I live so would like to gather as much information before a hike to view. Thanks in advance for help. Cheers, Mike

As everyone knows I have had a rough idle problem for a bit with the exhaust note being broken at random times... After reading a thread on here with someone having a similar problem I took the maf off and started the car... no bad idle... no break or anything. Put it back on and break in the exhaust note. also reading the same thread they had a problem with the new maf. Which ones are best to order? Cheers

I have a set of rims that have a large circular "cap" that covers the bolt holes and then a smaller threaded "cap" with a lge hex head, I think the pictures explain it better, the red caps have a sparco emblem, trying to get more or these has been impossible, however when I look at the red cap the emblem disc comes out so another one could go in, red cap is 70mm across flats with approx. 63mm thread. I need 2 of each, has anyone got anything that even resembles these caps, also, what id the official name for these so I can search more effectively. Rich

Hi all I purchased this as a 'just in case' buy some time ago but it is now taking up valuable room. It's a 1992 with 70k on it. Engine and box still together as one lump. This isn't an advert, just looking for some guidance as to how much to put it on for sale at. Any replies would be much appreciated. :-)

Hi everyone. My propshaft is on the way out, has been causing vibrations for a while now. Does anyone know where's the best place to source a replacement? Should I go for a one-piece? I have a '92 300zx TT manual 2+2. Thanks in advance!

Hi, zed currently has a leak in one of the heater matrix hoses. Already have a replacements thanks to Zcentre so now looking for recommendations of what coolant/antifreeze to use on the zed? Concentrate or ready mixed, brands or oem nissan stuff and the total quantity i will need. Also is it worth using radiator flush as the liquid in there atm seems abit "rusty" Thanks Andre.

Me again... Loads of problems throwing themselves up on the last home straight. Clutch is heavy but will go into gear with the engine off, engine on it's loose and won't go into gear. Do I need to bleed with the engine on?

I'd like to get one of these for the zed when I get the priority jobs sorted, has anyone fitted one? What kind of hub and quick release kit would you need? The wheel would probably be MOMO or Sparco for me. I think the MOMO Race looks cool - Z32 Zone pic earlier: Maybe with a Nismo horn button. Unless there's anything for an OEM wheel?

Started her up today ready to get her back on the road and she's hunting again, no split intercooler this time seems to be no vac leaks either. Conzult shows no error codes but on power balance test I have - 462 on rpm? Smells really bad too at the moment but no answer excess smoke? Something simple I hope? Thanks in advance. Here's it idling itself with no input from me.

If you were to buy a set of leather seats would you prefer them to be both electric for that grand tourer luxury. As most are in a manual passenger electric driver or both manual seats..?

Well, the difference between these fuses is that the one marked 10 Clearly seen on the fuse in white. That blown fuse was lit up! It had a chip in it so it was clear to be seen! Anyone know this?

Sun 10th May. My buddy Steve came over and spent an hour or so making some minor adjustments to the mapping as I drove up and down the A610 and also slowly on a local indust estate. Some improvement in the Z1 throttle bodies and linkage meant that tickover and light throttle settings on take off and crawling in (simulated) traffic needed adjustment. The main power settings are all fine from the original power map that Noel did. Tues 12 May. My carbon fibre bonnet had lots of horrible white patches where the coating had oxidised. I wet flatted it all over with 600 grade and hit it with two coats of 2K laquer. Its not perfect but it looks 100% better than it was…

Hi, was playing around on Autotrader and came across this...... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201503021364499/sort/default/page/1/postcode/pr74qu/make/nissan/channel/cars/usedcars/model/300/radius/1501/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew?logcode=p Looks quite tidy but the dealer commands quite a price, again though, nice to see the value moving in the right direction!

Hi, can anyone help in letting me know where i can buy (or even a part number) a replacement hose/tube that coolant flows through behind the engine. Drawn an arrow to it in the picture below. Managed to get some tape around it for a quick fix to just move the car around. Thank you :D
