Ok so rough idle still and missing. Things i have done. Replaced coil plugs with new Cleaned out Idle control valve Replaced all coil packs Replaced one injector as it was reading 18/20.ohms Checked all vac hoses for leaks Checked spark plugs (ok) Checked battery / alternator (multimeter) 14.4 volts Checked fuel pump plug connection Checked all round engine bay plugs and replaced (fixed) loose or bad connections Tested each injector with meter all now reading between 10 and 14 ohms Checked coil pack plugs with meter. Checked MAF stalls when unplugged Although UN related 're set TPS Checked codes 55 clear. So far …

the rear panel that says 300zx on it and have 4 light that come on am going to use one side for reverse lights and the other for rear fog lighs. standing at the back of the car what side does a rear fog light have to been on or does it not matter ?

Saw this red zed a couple hours ago, had the website in the back quarter window. :) In the high street and then right outside Tesco. I'm still very new here so no clue who it belongs too. Cheers

Having changed this solenoid for another as u can see the wires are severed! Well over the past year my steering has felt heavy. What a difference & also my auto changes appear smoother & my tick over more settled! Is this possible due to impulses to the ECU? Art

In the process of refreshing the heads on my car and have 2 seals that I can't for the life of me rember where they go? Been looking through the service manual and trying on czp and z1 to find it but can't see it. Can anyone shed some light for me?

ok its the first time the bumper had been near my car just doing some test fits the big intercoolers are now all done. i will be having ducts in the bumper were the old side lights and indicators used to be, and am doing to mod the 99 indicators and fit side lights in them with the indicators i also need to open up the bumper support bracket so the ducts can let as much air in as poss, i will be cutting louvers in the wheel wells so the air can pass right throw carbon canister rad over flow bottle and washer bottle have been removed am aiming to get the most out the coolers so have removed anything that could get in the way so you will be able to sine a light rite throw f…

Looking at some new alloys, found the one's I want and they are 18x10 et25. Will these be flush with the arches and not require spacers or arch rolling. What tyre sizes would you recommend going with? Cheers Aaron

Just been to see an old family friend who has had his zed for years but this is the first time I'd ever seen it. He told me he's thinking of selling it as it doesn't get used, done 50miles since October. It's a TT auto, paintwork looks slightly tired but mechanically sound & solid body. He used to work on these when he worked for nissan as a mechanic so he knows what he's doing. Nissan actually gave him a brand new one for the weekend & told him to put 2000 miles on it so he drove it to Scotland. Hi Folks I'm partway through putting coilovers on the shorty and I have discovered the knock I thought was down to the suspension is in fact the ball joint on the offside HICAS tie/track rod. Binning the HICAS was always part of the eventual plan and now wouldn't be a bad time to do it. However obviously I can't just use a lock out bar as that won't change that ball joint and no one seems to have the eliminator kit in stock. if I phone NIssan to try and order the rod from them I get duuuuur it's an import and we know nothing. So couple of questions. Are the bits the same for UK and JDM cars? In which case I'm hoping I could just order the UK rod. Or does any…

I'm struggling to hold 19psi of boost which usually tails off around 4500rpm, I can get boost spikes of 24psi. At the moment I have a 2.5inch twin exhaust with crappy gaskets which don't fit properly and probably reduce bore size it has also been somewhat squashed from my low ride height. I have since raised the ride a touch and before forking out £1000 for a custom fabricated 3inch exhaust (which they can neatly tuck under the car to avoid being squashed) I want to know if it's going to be beneficial or a waste of money, either way it still needs changing. I want to know if it will effect the way the turbos are losing pressure and if I can squeeZe a few more h…

Hi guys, I am a noob here, and am thinking of buying a 300ZX. What would be the normal price of a 1998+, manual twin turbo preferably Targa but not esential, Long wheel base, White or Pearl white? Hi gents I'm looking for some replacement mats (LWB JDM TT). Ideally OEM, or at least OEM fitment so they're held still by the pins in the floor.
