Just been to see an old family friend who has had his zed for years but this is the first time I'd ever seen it. He told me he's thinking of selling it as it doesn't get used, done 50miles since October. It's a TT auto, paintwork looks slightly tired but mechanically sound & solid body. He used to work on these when he worked for nissan as a mechanic so he knows what he's doing. Nissan actually gave him a brand new one for the weekend & told him to put 2000 miles on it so he drove it to Scotland. It's only done 46k miles, got an impul rear bumper & skirts, genuine split rim bbs alloys. Interior is really clean, like new. Will put a few pictures up in a bit. He…

One question that are commonly asked: How does the MeisterR suspension perform on track? As owners do throw the MeisterR coilovers into the fire pit of competition, I just want to share some of their exciting result. Drift: A One - Two Finish Congrats to Michael Marshall and Mark Luney; a well fought battle and great to see MeisterR in both 1st and 2nd place on the podium. 1st Place British Drift Championship (Pro Class - Round 3 - Teesside): Michael Marshall - Team MnM Engineering 2nd Place British Drift Championship (Pro Class - Round 3 - Teesside): Mark Luney - Team Lucas Oil Drag: Setting New Records Now mid way thro…

Hi Folks I'm partway through putting coilovers on the shorty and I have discovered the knock I thought was down to the suspension is in fact the ball joint on the offside HICAS tie/track rod. Binning the HICAS was always part of the eventual plan and now wouldn't be a bad time to do it. However obviously I can't just use a lock out bar as that won't change that ball joint and no one seems to have the eliminator kit in stock. if I phone NIssan to try and order the rod from them I get duuuuur it's an import and we know nothing. So couple of questions. Are the bits the same for UK and JDM cars? In which case I'm hoping I could just order the UK rod. Or does any…

I'm struggling to hold 19psi of boost which usually tails off around 4500rpm, I can get boost spikes of 24psi. At the moment I have a 2.5inch twin exhaust with crappy gaskets which don't fit properly and probably reduce bore size it has also been somewhat squashed from my low ride height. I have since raised the ride a touch and before forking out £1000 for a custom fabricated 3inch exhaust (which they can neatly tuck under the car to avoid being squashed) I want to know if it's going to be beneficial or a waste of money, either way it still needs changing. I want to know if it will effect the way the turbos are losing pressure and if I can squeeZe a few more h…

Hi gents I'm looking for some replacement mats (LWB JDM TT). Ideally OEM, or at least OEM fitment so they're held still by the pins in the floor. Can anyone recommend a good source for high quality mats? Or does anyone have any they would be willing to sell? Ideally Dark Grey or Black. Thanks a lot

I'm wanting to fit an NA rear subframe/diff assembly to my 1995 TT. I'm just thinking ahead a little and not looked under the back of mine yet but has anyone done this swap? I'm guessing that however it works at the back will just be left unplugged and nothing else will be affected? Thanks for any input guys

When I start the car I get the 3 lights : ABS, trans oil and diff oil. Its a 1990 300zx. The battery gives 11.8v with lght, fan, aircon on other lectic stuff on. Whwn I turn it off i get 12v. Sometimes when I rev the engine he lights go away and the battery/alternator goes up to about 13.5v I have checked the fuses by the battery and cleaned them. No difference. The three lights are alway on now. I think the altenator is dying, but if there is somethig else I can check please let me know?

Hello everyone, So I bought some "new" volk f-zero wheels recently and can't wait to get them on. They are 17 x 9 et 45 on the front, and 17 x 10 et 48. I had a quick look against stock and thought yeah that will be fine, before noticing the HICAS!! :( So I have worked out that on the rears I will be 6mm wider on the outside (fine), but on the inside I will be 32mm wider!! Oops. Obviously this won't work with HICAS and will hit the linkage. So what are the options?... I have 15mm hubcentric spacers, which will reduce it to 17mm wider on the inside, but will this still be too close? I can't tell at the moment as I don't know the sizes of the wheels on it cur…

Right guys and girls, some of you may be aware that a few of us were invited by Nissan to a private track based event hosted by Nissan at Donnington Park on Sat just gone. The event saw some of us on static display and some kind souls offering to give hot laps round a track to the Nissan employees in their cars. Now Chris kindly offered this and bearing in mind he did this entirely out of his own good will, no payment was received. Unfortunately Chris's day did not go too well and to cut a long story short his car ended up with significant rear quarter damage. I have to say I am gutted for Chris and he took it very well on the day but having had some time to think…

Noticed this leaking not badly burritos dripping on the down pipe It's not the best picture. But the best I could get with my phone What is it in it. It looks like it's dripping from the connector might just need tightening. It's on the passenger side hose goes in the back of the fire wall. The other side runs along the passenger side of the engine. Thinking it's coolant but can't be sure.

I've a pair of these blanks, but having had one cut, it seems that the rubber stops it from being inserted far enough. Has anyone had any luck with this key? (I found one Australian post mentioned it - http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=322931) And what code is on the original (if any)?

i purchased myself a 52mm boost guage to go in a pod. nothing wrong with the cluster one but as its a jdm car its got the dodgy hhmgk blar blar blar reading. i thought i would prefer to understand my cars boost reading in english (bar) i did do a conversion guide to psi and found that the normal boost pressure 9.5psi according to the cluster pressure i teed in the new boost gauge to the balance rail nipple that goes to the stock boost solenoid. this was advised reading what other people have done. i am getting a max reading of 0.25 bar (3.62595psi) but the standard cluster reading is sits above 500 mmhg (9.6psi) so am i only getting boost reading from one…

Here goes... The car has been sitting in the garage for a year. Just had the engine and transport out. Replaced the actuators with ones that I can change the spring on. Currently 3.75psi spring. Also changed the oem engine mount with some ams engine mounts for more engine space and because of the actuators. Engine and trans back in. Fired it up and idles fine at first start. The problem begins at the first test run. With the avcr of I get about 0.1 bar boost. I am able to get 0.3-0.4 bar with avcr on. That seems to be max. The other thing is that when driving I get a really bad vibration/rumble. It's worst in fifth gear. Feels like less vibration/rumble…
