Been quoted £400 to get my calipers refurbished. Stripped down, new pistons, seals and then painted. The garage are friends of mine so getting discount but wondered if that is a good deal ?

Can anyone con- firm that the outside diameter of a na flywheel is 240mm just shy of 9.5 inch and the man is 250mm so just shy of 10 inch. the reason for my madeness ,well im trying to mate a 355 chevy lump to a 300zx gearbox.

Where can I get one? Mine was plastic but either a plastic or aluminium one will do. It's the one from the top left of the rad. Even looked on ebay and can't even find any on there.

hi guys i think i'm looking at front torsion rods or lower arms, but when braking particularly if i'm going 5/10mph when it's most noticeable when i brake suddenly/hard it feels like something moves on the front end and springs back when i release the brakes, i noticed it more today when i had right lock on. i've got poly bushes already on my torsion bars so am i right in thinking these have failed or the lower arms have cracked?

I'm planning to make a new battery loom or at least replace the top half for new and I need to connect the old and new looms together with crimped butt joints. Anyone have any experience with this ? I've looked on the old ebay and say the following tool and also saw a video of it in use so I know it should work but not sure how to measure the wire and get the crimps needed. Hi Folks Just got back from terminal velocity at Woodbridge where I have suffered a bit of :thumbdown: We took off well (bit of burning clutch smell) 140 in fourth change up nothing left, would not go so took my foot off the gas coasted through the line at 80. Now running on 5 cylinders. Limped home and put to bed in the garage. Any thoughts on what I have broken this time with my lead foot? Cheers from your friendly neighbourhood idiot.

Hi Folks had my head under the bonnet for a bit today and down by the battery I've found an electrical connection not connected to anything and a pipe clearly broken off something. The car seems to run fine but on the basis Nissan didn't put spare bits and jokes in could someone please tell me what they are. the other end Many thanks in advance

Hi Guys, i need some help and advice here, i've got a set of wheels which have a circular nut cover as shown in the picture. once this is put on, a 50mm odd dia nut goes down the thread to cover the middle, giving the final appearance as shown, Now my problem is i have been looking for 2 more of these nut covers for the last 2 years with no result. So i am wondering that maybe i need to think outside the box, would it therefor be possible to make a mould using one of them in order to "cast" another 2. They have no structural use so i'm thinking why not. Only trouble is when i last did anything similar it was 35 years ago at college. So can some people give me some advice/…

Hiya chaps. Hoping someone can help me out again. My odometer has recently stopped working on my clocks, the trip meter has gone all wonky so I assume that's something to do with it? It's a jap import and it's had the conversion to mph. If I buy some UK clocks will they just work? Or do I need to buy jap clocks? Also I understand there are switches on the back of the clocks that might need.. Switching? Any help greatly appreciated. Oli

Seriously stuck! I hate the cheap tacky gear knob that's currently in my car, but it's the only one I have. Looking to buy a new replacement and for the life of me cannot decide on one! Curious to know what a z32 would sound like with just straight through stainless 3inch pipes and no back boxes/silencers? Like it's blowing? I've started it with just downpipes on it and it sounded like a tractor lol Wanna have 3inch custom pipes all the way to the back with no silencers but hVe welded bolt joins at the end where the bad boxes would be so I can have the option of running with or without them. Am I mad?
