Engine,s coming out soon to replace ; Tubs Rocker cover gaskets Rear crank seal Core plugs VVT springs Fuel lines Vac lines Fit painted timing covers and throttle cover and sort anything else we spot , it,s all getting a damn good clean so i thought it,s an ideal time to do a bit of extra blinging . Throttle bodies need a bit more work but it,s getting there :dance:

Major pain must have put the door cards on and taken them off again about 4 times for the first speaker. Only got one done on sat due to failing light but the new 6.5 components sound so much better compared to the old coaxials. Only problem is though that each speaker is only held in by one screw at the moment as I had a severe time limit. Will they shake themselves off any time soon?

Evening all My rad doesnt seem to be drawing coolant back when it cools. The expansion tank often overflows slightly after driving and when it is cold, the level in the rad is rather low. I top it up before every drive and the level in the rad is always the same, be it a 10 min trip to the shops or 150miles to the girlfriends. I think my HD is on its way out as I have combustion gasses in the coolant, but no water in the oil or oil in the water. :rolleyes: Could it be something as simple as the rad cap or is it more expensive?! :wack: Thanks! Well the saga continues...got the car back yesterday and low and behold as ever there are problems....to me the car is only performing half as well as it should. Now in fairness to the guy who used it for filming he has put all his trust in a local specialist and they have let him down by doing half a job. He did offer to take it back having dropped it off last night and come back today to have a look at it but I said I'd rather get someone from here to take a look this time. The car is about half as quick as it was with the knackered tubs and I think the best thing would be a conzult to suss things out. It does smell quite badly of petrol and the after market b…

Hi there I have reset my idle as it was too low. In drive its sits correct but when I am in park, it shoots up to 1500rpms? How can i get it that in Drive it sits okay but does not jump up when in park?? Thanks

I would like to get rid of the arial on Audrey and still want to recieve radio, so I need to know how to make use of the arial in the rear screen. Please enlighten me. Scrawn.

well after selling my Z and trying lots of different cars! (cerbera 4.5 was 2 expensive to run and inevitably fix! jag xkr was auto and not as much fun as my z and AC Cobra was gorgeous but about as much use as a motorbike in terms of being even slightly practicle!) so iv gone full 360 and want another Z as i find the supra and gto ugly imo, after being on the Z centre web site i have fallen

As above Firstly fdo you need a vacuum gauge if you have a boost gauge??? if so what's the benifits? would you be able to see straight away if you had a boost/vacuum leak?? into what pipe work would you install the vacuum gauge Also what size are the oil pipe that you would fit the pressure gauge into,(for the fitting kits) and where are they located? would this also be the location for the oil temp if i were to fit one As above for water temp gauge Cheers Neil

Right, finally got the zed back today but nothing is ever perfect in my little 300 world so I'm looking for some re-assurance here. The car is significantly down on power and the exhaust note is different...hard to describe why but it is. The guy who has had the car for the filming and got the tubs sorted reckons that its just a misfire so we bought some spark plugs today and he'll fit them tomorrow which apparently will solve the problem. Apparently all the coil packs were checked and the engine itself was running fine before the turbo change. Can someone re-assure me that there is a good chance that this is the problem or do I need him to look deeper into…

Hi there When car is cold, my revs are perfect but when the car reaches normal opearting temp , the revs drop to like 550rpm. What gives??? Thanks

Hello, When I boot my tt as its winding up through the gears it goes to second fine then changes into 4th then drops to 3rd then back up to 4th does anyone know why it does this?? also when I reverse with cold engine sometimes the box seems to click into slow mode and needs nearly full power to go back any ideas? (safety mode??) oil seem fine as I have topped it up.. I have tried the diognostic thing but doesent seem to flash at me it does nothing!
