Please help! Going down the M4 last saturday the HICAS / battery / Lights and ANTI ROLL warning lights all came on at the same time and the Steering went Incredibly stiff. As I had only just got on the motorway I turned around at the next available junction and took it home. just as I got to my street the tempreture guage started to rise gradually so I parked it up straight away. I check the water level to make sure there was no leak the following day and that appeared fine. I booked it in to my local garage thinking it was something as simple as a power steering problem, something which they could have got sorted without any problems. After a quick examination …

Ok pissed off with trying to sort out the back end and eliminate the hicas so I have ordered some new outer ball joints. The question is can you fit them with the hub on the car, I have an idea of how to do it but would like some experiences from you blokes. Cheers, Scrawn.

I got HID headlights which look cool and bluey/white (6000K kit). Now the fog/side lights look a bit yellowy in comparison. Anyone know where I can get some bluey coloured bulbs to fit them? Cheers!

Hi, would like to understand the benifit of an oil sandwich plate for my uk zed. I am shortly going to replace my oem engine cooler and use a trust cooler with sandwich plate ( thanx kirbz ) . You would , i presume, replace the standard cooler and block of the feeds to it and replace with the grex plate, with pipes from this to the trust cooler? To my knowledge, the plate is activated via oil pressure and is this type of system better for engine oil cooling? thanx

I have a small hole in a 3" hose just above the Thermostat so want to replace both 3" hoses and the 4 gaskets around that area, They are for a 1994 TT import if that makes any difference. Below are pictures of the 4 gaskets and two hoses. Does anyone have a picture of the parts page for this area? I did call in at the parts centre of Nissan, but they were usesless saying their parts catalogue did not cover imports but the one 10 miles away did. I said I was not bothered just give me the bits for a UK car, I would take the risk, but he would not look it up, said he needed full UK chassis number. Have left a message for dealer manager to complain....

I have a 94 TT Jap spec Auto MAIN PROBLEM! When pulling off from a dead stop, the revs drop to about 300 (Car hesitates while doing this) and then revs pick up and car pulls off. It only does this when warm!! When car is cold I have no problem. I have checked everything and my mechanic is dead stumped. Please help

Hi I have just taken the rear of my SWB apart with a view to re-designing the rear Bose speaker boxes and installing some new 6.5 inch speakers only to find that the passenger side box is cosiderably saller than the drivers side one. I can't see any reason why this would be so as there is no petrol pipe to clear as on the SWB it is situated in front of the rear wheels. I want a larger box, anyone got any ideas- american one perhaps? Cheers, Andy

 Went onto a roundabout today about 35-40, just following a freelander then bang, hit a brick and my Tie rod snapped (have i got that right, bit thats attached from front hub to front cross member somewhere, its adjustable) well that sent me round in a circle then into the kirb, only obvious damage is as mentioned above, just wondered if this is adjustable as standard and will it just be the same as a uk spec cars part or is this an aftermarket jobby thats adjustable and any idea how much this will cost me, ill go and get it tomorrow if its available from a normal auto parts store. cheers ryan
