Today Greg came to my house near Portsmouth from Weston Super Mare and did a plenum bypass with plenum in situ; he also replaced the small ba....d to get at hose at the back of the engine with, and yes,you guessed it right, engine in situ!!!!!This ditty is not to thank Greg, because I have already done so in person but to promote his ability and to recommend him to you all in case any of you want the same job doing.Greg says he will travel provided the distance is not too great and his price for this service--------Well speak to HIM.....IS VERY REASONABLE

Thinking of fitting one to stop all the crap getting pumped back into the plenum , questions are ; Which is the best place to plumb it to ? Are there any issue,s with fitting one ( running wise ) ? Or can it be vented to atmosphere instead of using a catch can ? Thanx

Seeing as there's a big bit of metal piping running from the back of the engine connecting one side of the PCV to another, couldnt I just remove this piece of crap and just shove one long hose in it's place!? Apart from the fact that the hoses itself reduces in bore size then increases back up in bore size I dont see any reason why I cant!? Less stinking connections to go wrong! Oh, I managed to get the plenum off too!

come on when you turn the screen demister on . its bloody annoying as it reduces power. when you switch it back onto normal heater the screen starts to mist up again.!!! is there a way of stopping the demister from using the aircon pump (eg by pressing a curtain sequence of buttons ect on the pod) i know you can diagnose it from there i was wondering if you can alter settings too. anybody else find this annoying and how did you solve it removing the aircon is NOT an option i will consider. thanks :)

Hi there, do any of you know what the exclamation light means on the dash? I noticed it was on when driving, then it went off again a few seconds later. If someone knows the answer to this, it would be much appreciated

..... Z Brochure.... But this time it's the 1999 JSpec one :D    These pics are from a differant Ebay auction, but it's the same brochure as the one I've just won. I wont be able to scan this one, as it's 12" x 12", which is too big for my scanner.

Right, on way home from work yesterday, travelled about as mile the car just suddenly started dying, so I pulled over and it was idling wery lumpy and irratically bouncing between 800 - 1200 rpm, so after about 1/2 hour of wiggling connector blocks around to no avail I tried to limp home, on the way home if I tried to pass 2k revs it would judder and stall, so had to keep well below 2k. This morning I was out with the wd40 and a small terminal flathead screwdriver, and cleaned up the connectors on the PTU, TPS, and the E.C.U. Water Temperature Sensor connector, but still no difference. So I started to look at the maf, I disconnected it with the engine idling and…

I've been big fan of them for ages. Fantastic rims, keep your cast £300 junk from Halfords, forged 3 peice rims is what it's all about...although I already have a set of forged 3-peice, I would just go that step further and get HRE if I could. Always liked them and these are my favourite design for them. Not sure I'd splash out the cash on them for a 300ZX though, maybe one day if I get a Lamborghini Gallardo (lottery winnings!)....or maybe an NSX in a few years. ;) These are the HRE 441R and are my favourite made by this manufacterer....which in turn are my favourite rim in the entire cosmos!

Just had a Dutch truck driver drive into the side of the Z, was sat in traffic just outside work and he puts his indicator on and drives straight into me. I was stationary in the outside lane of the carriage way so couldn't go anywhere! I just sat there for a second swearing a lot, then the object of my wrath comes into view, he could hear me as the glass had smashed when the truck had mangled the door. I took a second or two to get out of the car, when the the guy saw the size of me and how pissed I was he ran back to his truck cab. I really wanted to bounce his head off the front of his truck. I calmed down and then relised I was blocking the carriage way so dro…
