Well after thinking my driver's side repeater had gone, I noticed when setting the alarm the bottom of the wing flashes! Upon closer inspection it would appear the bulb holder has fallen inside the wing. Apart from taking the indicator off and getting a coat hanger in there (my first thought), how would I get inside the wing? Can I access it by taking the arch liner off?

Took the car over to andyp tonight for him to have a look and he sorted it!!!! I have to say thanks to all who offered to help me. Andy continued even in the rain and despite my complete lack of knowledge he diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Top man in my books totally selfless even though he has never met me. I hope that I can return the favour some day. I've waited a long time for this and there are still jobs to do but I'm really happy....oh and so is the car...tail happy that is!!! Rob :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: PS I need a coil pack!!!!!

Having a prob with the lights on my UK spec Zed. Started with the fog light coming on by its self followed by the o/s main beam a couple of hours later, I took the car for a drive hoping this might dry things off, now when I switch the lights off the o/s main beam comes on and the n/s dip stays on. I have had to dissconect all the offending lamps as the car was sitting outside all lit up with now where to, can some please help? Also the boost gauge only works properly (I hope) when the lights are switched off.

No engine bay shots in this auction, but front bumper and lack of rear spoiler (option on N/A) hint at it being an N/A. But boost gauge seem to be present. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300zx-TWIN-TURBO-AEROTOP-AUTO-REMOTE-START_W0QQitemZ120055181387QQihZ002QQcategoryZ18238QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

My boot lid won't unlock, so have to have someone outside to lift it up. Would this be because the catch needs adjusting, or because the struts are knackered!?! Are the struts supposed to push it up a little when you lift the lever?

There's a pair on Ebay... Look like the real thing although one looks like it has been repaired. Does anyone know if Pace products are any good? Do you know what sort of power you could get using these or is it best to steer clear. Thanks in advance for any answers! :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-PACE-ALLOY-INTERCOOLERS-x2_W0QQitemZ130047630765QQihZ003QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I need some help to fix my leaking targas!   Im sick of it now - for the past year Ive put up with water dripping onto my right knee out of the A-pillar pods that have filled up cos water's managing to get in somehow through the targas and down the A-pillar. i changed the whole driver-side rubber last week, and got a tube of rubber sealant from Halfrauds - most of which I used to bung up every hole I could see. got into the car yesterday for a drive and I almost got bloody soaked!  water coming out of top two pods, water following underneath the targa and dripping straight onto my head!, water collecting above the sun visor and falling into…

One for the techies I think. Yesterday on the rolling road, I was the only person to have had a higher torque reading than bhp! What is the actual relationship between torque and BHP? And why do people want more bhp when it is torque that actually provides the accelaration?

Hi all, I have a pair of new GT2560R turbo’s to install into my Zed this coming week. They have the 5 bolt exhaust housing, but I have reused the compressor housing. The actuators have been upgrade (larger) to cope with the higher boost. Because I have the standard compressor housing, do you think I will have enough room for mounting? Or do you think I will need to get smaller actuators such as the HKS items? I’m hoping maybe someone has done this upgrade and can tell me for sure before I pull the engine next week. Left is the same as the actuators I have, right is the smaller HKS actuator.

Right, the nuts for the bolts which hold the bracing for the gearbox mount to the floor are found inside the car. I am assuming they are captive or welded, well now one isnt... (The bracing is held on by 3 bolts either side, then 2 into the mount. One of the passenger side 3 is broken.) One of them gave way inside the car so now the bolt is still on the nut and is loose and no way of getting it undone. Before i go ripping the interior apart (again) can i actually get to the captive nut or not? Its not quite loose enough to hacksaw it off, but anyway id still have the problem of fitting another nut.
