Hi, been trying to remove the back part of the centre console to fit a new handbrake and gearstick sleeve ( gaitor ) I cant for the life of me work out where the screws are to get it off. I know to lift the radio surround off and access some that way, but after that I'm stuck.. :( Thanks Mark Ps pics would be really handy

I've tried yokohoma's on the rear and now some new mitchellins done about 3K and they've gone no major wheels spins or drifting mainly motorway use i don't mind paying for something that lasts but can't afford to keep paying out for stuff that don't last anyone got any idea's on proven best brand please help as my credit card is full after buying the japspeed exhaust (way nice) easy fit :smash:

Thinkin bout buyin zx but cos i want to tune it- ie: better turbo's uprated everything... not sure whether to by N/A ZX and add better turbo's or buy TT and replace parts with better upgrades/turbos... any help?

Right bought these off the vinzmeister yesterday at the midlands meet. You get 4 x LED bulb replacements A replacement relay to ensure the bulbs blink in the right time And these instructions Now will i be able to do a straight swap with the relay already in there or will i have to pull a plug from the back/rewire the relay pod etc?

Whilst out the other day, the revs on my car increased with no apparent increase in speed. The clutch (full works) was replaced less than 15,000 miles ago so can't see how it has gone already. Tried the classic test of putting her on a slight incline and flooring it in fourth but everything seems OK. Just seems to do it now and again. Clutch pedal is right at the top so would indicate that she is on the way but maybe it just needs adjusting. Any ideas? Could it be anthing else?

Are there any guides on how to fit shocks and springs to our cars?

It started a week or two after Jeff (zedworld) replaced the HICAS arms, when I took the wheel off to see if I could track it down the nut on the end was loose, checked the other side and that was the same. Could that have caused damage to any other components? Just replaced my rear shocks but the originals had some electrical gizmos on top of the struts that look like air valves. Car is 94 UK TT but I can't see any switches that could possibly activate these. Replacement (non air valve) shocks appear to be fine and after fitting eibachs alround there is one hell of a difference in handling - especially as one of the shocks was leaking. Any ideas how these valves are operated?

Hi there. I'm after the main wiring loom that connects everywhere on the engine. Mine was butchered by a make-believe mechanic, and all of the connectors/clips have been damaged. Blond moment here. I am thinking of getting some dielectric silicone grease. This is up to 400 deg F - and totally non-conductive. Does this mean if I was to clean electrical spade connections and put this grease on spade and connector then connect them up, the grease would act as an insulator and stop good contact?

I have read you can disconnect the brake assist vacuum line, plug up the MAF inlet and attach vac pipe to where the brake assist vac goes to, pressureise up a garden sprayer and use it to find boost leaks. Anyone know if you can damage seals as Im not sure what pressure them garden sprayers can build up to? Saves lots of compressor noise :)

Where can I get some new PCV valves?, how much are they? And do they come with the short rubber pipe? Thanks Paul

Hi, Looking at changing the locks/keys on a Z but need to know how to remove the ignition lock? Is there anyway of just getting the actual barrel out or does the whole assy have to be removed? Cheers Vijay
