Hello! I was just looking at a zed with no boot spoiler and I liked the look of it! Z32 that is! whats the best way to take one off? just had a quick look at mine and to me it looks like its stuck down with black sticky stuff! surely theres some screws somewhere? Cheers anyway!!

Got to solder in a large quantity of LED's and they come with a pack of resistors, so I can feed them off a 12v supply. My question is can I just use the 1 resistor on the main feed wire or do I have to use 1 resistor per LED? Will it effect brighness? Cheers Vijay

Hello all, I have a H reg tt uk spec and im thinking of a cam belt change as I dont know when it was changed last. Can anyone tell me how difficult this is to do? is it an engine out job? and what would the price be at a main dealer? Also if anyone can tell me what problems you would get, if any, by over filling an auto box as mine has a dodgy reverse when cold and when going through the gears hard it goes from 1-2-4-3-4 would this be due to over filling?? When I start from cold she is hesitating, if you leave the accelerator in the same position it picks up and then hesitates etc. Then when warmed up and with A/C off the revs keeps dropping right down to just above stalling speed, the engine just about keeps idling. Sometimes the idle speed goes to high as well! When the A/C is on when warm, the idle seems ok most of the time, but sometimes too high.

1. I recently did the clear rear indicator conversion. only done one side so far but all went fine but strangely now every time i switch on the lights the rear light doesnt come on (either both bulbs or one or other of them) and i have to go round to the rear and give the unit a tap on the front and it is fine. tried looking for a loose connection but cant find anything. Anyone heard of this problem before? 2. I tried to check the ecu error codes but shorting the two pins on the consult plug with a paper clip i was short on space and couldnt really see what was going on with the light but now the yellow engine light does not flash on at all when i turn the ignition o…

Hi everyone, been a while but after having two RX-7's I'm back in a Z and lovin it :) I've got Tonyc's black shorty, bought it from cona2k on Saturday. Had some problems so took it to Protech in Nailsea. The water leak turned out to be a short heater matrix hose which had split. Also had a misfire which they cured by cleaning the coil packs and other connectors. Now it goes like stink! Just about holds traction in first gear, raise the boost slightly and it spins and wants to go sideways! Tony I hope you read this as I wondered if you could shed some light on a couple of problems please? Firstly do you know what ECU it's got? Did you fit the boost contoller…

my zed is chipped but i am not sure by who it came with a instruction book with a good few pages, white paper, picture of the chip and writing on the front page i cant find the booklet now and was wondering if they were about so i could tell what chip i have i remember a quote from it "everytime detonation happens its bad for your engine"

OK - heres the symptoms..... uneven idle - revs stay around 750rpm but idles rough. No hesitation Fuel economy is fine No loss of power. Changed fuel filter cleaned throttle bodies replaced spark plugs when removing each injector connector - engine note drops, then picks back up when plugged back in ditto for the coil packs. sprayed carb cleaner into idle unit. none of this has made any difference. Was going to squirt wd-40 into idle unit in case its got sticky. But I'm out of ideas at the moment The car runs perfect off idle, its just when it comes back down. Any ideas welcome.

I'e checked boost leak and it's appear that i loose pressure on the oil pan. I need to remove it and to add more join. But i don't feel like this is the reason why i can't boost more than 0.62 bar. I use a Profec B and even in mode B (1.0bar), i stay at 0.62 maximum. Any idea?

Hello, im new to the forum and i could do with a bit of help.. Basicly, im a big nissan lover, ive had two Nissan Almera Gti's and one sunny GTI however i fancy a change, moving away from the sr20de engine all the above make use of.. I was seriously limited by insurance until this month when for some unexpected reason, they would insure me on a 300zx turbo but this where im confused. Basicly, they will insure me on a nissan '300zx Turbo' but im really getting wound up because all the 300's i see are twin turbo's.. and yes its 1991ish ive been getting quotes on. Are they missing the 'twin' bit out or refuring to a totally different car? Sorry to sound …

Gunmetal z by beckenham junction station today about 8.50am and a mid blue metallic one parked up on the side of the road in croydon near doves jag.

For some reason my stereo(s) have no power at all now, the clock is kind of blinking between dull and lit and the interior lights do not work. Most likely blown a fuse/fuses? If so which one is for the above? It's a jap spec TT. Ever other electrical part is working fine though.

does any1 have a recommendation for a decent car alarm and immobiliser and also recommendations on reasonably priced companies? my previous zed had a toad alarm which was always going off and was fookin annoying... im thinking of goin for a decent clifford alarm but have had no experience with these. cheerZ Joel.

Does anyone know of a good insurance approved alarm imoboliser installer around Andover Hants. Insurance company demand Cat2 minimum. I have a friend who needs one too. His has a turbo timer, can that still be used on a CAT2 ? or will it have to deinstalled. So far have called 2 local companies and been quoted £125 & 150 +VAT. I'm sure I could do better.

Just started doin the carbon canister removal as i have finished the 60K service and felt like doin a bit more but i have been following a print out from a page called "Robo's twin turbo info" and where it says to put the fuel tank line to the lower line with a small bit of hose i can't because i don't have that lower line in my car for some reason. Anybody know wher it needs to go as i can't turn back as i was a little harsh in the way i removed the canister. It's a 1990 TT Lwb Jap.

Hi guys just to let you all know that i now have my zed she is a late 1992 k reg been in the uk since 2002 Unfortunatly she is a N/a but i can wait and rebuild a T/T engine and drop it in 172000 kph All the usual toys all for the sum off £950 BAD POINTS Heater matrix needs replacing Needs 1 new tyre and the Front bumper / Spoiler needs a Respray And Same with the rear bumper and spoiler But other than that she drive nice i must say ve been a kid in a candy store since i picked her up on friday night Best thing ive ever done is by a zed

How easy is it to fit rear adjustable rear camber arms Peeps.What do you have to unbolt etc.Can I just unbolt the bottom shock absorber bolt and wiggle the old out and the new in?.
