Just failed emissions on My TT SWB The drivers side comes in well within tolerance but passenger side is all over the place Did ecu diagnostic and O2 sensor seems fine What else could it be?

Hi i am considering buying an N/a rear subframe and need to know whether i can get it in my work car(Diesel Octavia! :rolleyes: ). so i would like to know if anyone know's the dimensions of one as i do not have one off the car here to measure! :p Anyone ever collected one in a car before?

I was just wondering. Ive ploud so much into my car now its a joke, and im still 5-10K away from finishing. So I was thinking if I sold mine I would have around 14K to spend on an import. (if I broke the car I would have 20K to spend)

Spotted sunday evening, heading north on a34. Think it was silver..(was dark!)

Spotted 2 z's on the iow over the weekend. 1st was a luvverley pearl yellow in sandown on friday afternoon. 2nd was a two tone silver/blue at blackgang chine on saturday afternoon.

My headlights are working on main beam, but when I dip them the passenger side one goes off completely. Sometimes if I move the control lever for the lights from dipped to main beam and vice versa the passenger side headlight may work as normal. By the way they are Hids, I have even tried switching the ballasts over to see if one was faulty but makes no difference. Could it be the control stalk connections. Thanks Chris.

Went to westec in Newport on sunday to get my car rolling roaded.. just about to go in and they guy says oh its an auto dont know if we can do it!! after a bit of conflab with the boss of the place he says we will try it..(gulp!) explains that to get an accurate graph he needs to accelerate from 4th gear? now obviously in an auto this is not easy so first time he trys it full boost comes on and she trys to climb out of the rollers at about 160mph!! guy says "we had a new ferrari in here last week and it didnt do that your torque figure must be through the roof".. :D second run he still can get it to stay in gear, the graph is all over the place so he…

Saw at last minute dark met grey or met black parked at the end of Priory Rd Dartford Sat afternoon. High rise spoiler and looked like an aftermarket front bumper. Car looked good.

When people have replaced dials, surrounds and chrome rings. Have you fitted the plastic cover back on? it look tons better left off. Also what are the bulbs for which are attatched to the bottom of the surround??

I started my Z for the first time yesterday, it was stored for winter... I noticed a loud "tic" "tic" at idle, here is a little video. video The sound seems to come from the place I did a close up What's wrong??? How can I fix that? :)

Hello all, I am considering a Complete diff swap from a TT 3.69 diff to either a N/a 4.08 diff or even this which i have come across? Clip from a website: (Here we are replacing the factory R230 viscous coupling 3.7 with R200 R32 GTR 4.3 Nismo mechanical lock clutch pack diff with a modified 300ZX non turbo cradle (no hicas to worry about!) with alloy spacers for drive shafts and tailshift to suit Nismo diff mounting bushes and urethane cradle bushes. Got the clay out today, god I hate cleaning the car with a pasion. Makes me feel sick as I get to see every bloody stone chip, crack, defect or blemish on my 1 year old painwork. Have decided to have teh front painted and repeat this every 2 years.

had the car on a ramp on saturday and was told by mechanic that the big rubber bush on the rear of the suspension was goosed its all dropping to bits and lots of play in it is it an easy job to do or is it back to the garage time sorry im not technically minded so im not sure exactly what the name of the bush is but its as big as a cup and its in the rear suspension leg that bolts into the floor of the car many thanx for any advise matty

I am getting a strange burning smell when I accelerate hard. Has anybody had this problem? My Zed is an N/A.
