Hello all, I am considering a Complete diff swap from a TT 3.69 diff to either a N/a 4.08 diff or even this which i have come across? Clip from a website: (Here we are replacing the factory R230 viscous coupling 3.7 with R200 R32 GTR 4.3 Nismo mechanical lock clutch pack diff with a modified 300ZX non turbo cradle (no hicas to worry about!) with alloy spacers for drive shafts and tailshift to suit Nismo diff mounting bushes and urethane cradle bushes. As a bonus the 300ZX diff weighs 52kg whilst the new GTR diff weighs 36 kg.) :) Link to site with pics : http://www.uniqueautosports.com/race%20car%20pge2.htm Has anyone else thought of using an R32…

Hi all, To say I'm fed up with people saying they can do "perfect" jobs and then expecting me to be happy with poor results it's starting to get to me :( The paintshop doing my car ended up saying that the wheels were not part of the job after spraying them but coming out far from perfect so I took them to the company that repaired a dent in my front alloy a few months back. When I went there, they told me that they would be perfect, 100% so happily left them my wheels a week ago to be done. I picked them up Saturday and the first thing I noticed was a pin hole and loads of specs where there must have been dust or particle of something under the paint before the…

Ok why is it never easy to do anything with this car?!?! Just changed my side repaeaters from some clear ones, and switched my hazards on to check they worked. The Passanger side one wasn't working, then all of a sudden all the indicators stopped working. Now none of them work with the hazard switch (not even the green ones on the dash) and the pass side one doesn't work with turn signal or alarm. The rest work fine. HELP!!!!

Ok, although I've always been into cars and have owned a few high performance turbo cars I'm looking to buy a 300zx TT (Z32) towards the end of the year/beginning of next. Things I know I want are the a for mentioned twin turbos, T-tops and a manual box. I don't want an import if possible, but I heard the short wheel base model was never sold in the UK? Now that's about the extent of my knowledge of the 300zx which is pretty lame hence me asking you guys about them and gaining some knowledge first. Things I would like to know are what should I be looking for, trouble spots, what Modifications to look out for and what ones to avoid. Like I said I know my way roun…

I really hope someone can help me here. I get a red warning light coming on and this just started recently. i have a 1990 TT and i have noticed since this light started coming on my car has seemed to slowed down - i think the turbo isn't actually kicking in? I am not sure but i am assuming its maybe a turbo warning light? It looks a little funny.. kinda like a square with 2 bits coming out either side and seems like its trying to show something is overheating? Maybe someone here has seen it before and can suggest something? i did try search the 'technical' stuff but when you dont know what you are looking for its hard! hope i can get some good advice.... As i'm a fair…

Was out in Reading last night and the car must of been out of my site for two hours max and when I get back I find the passenger side window has been smashed and they have killed my cd player attempting to yank it out of the dash! :xxx:  I hate these scum that seem to have no thought or respect for anyone elses property or feelings! Anyway, I am now in need of a passenger side door glass for an import so if anyone has one for sale it would be great as I don't know how long I will have to wait for a new window from Japan if I go through insurance. Be careful where you park your cars at night guys, I just wish I had parked a little near…
