hello!!!! i got my hands on some bov's 2 weeks ago but havn't fitted them yet, and the bloody packaging never came with instructions..... ???? i got my mate (who's a fitter) to look at it, but he's a bit unsure as he's never worked a on zx tt before..... can anyone help with where the bov's are located and how to fit..... ta paul

I think this is the driveshaft ? How much are these and how hard are they to fit. Thanks

Hi there Can anyone help. I have 1990 Zed twin turbo that I bought from importers with head gasket gone. I have totally rebuilt it and it runs a treat. The problem is that on heavy acceleration it starts to hesitate and hold back. If you plant the peddle gently it will creep up ok but not great. If you whack the A/C on its even worse!?! No horrible smoke or noises though. I have noticed that the return fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail looks new, but when I tested it with a vaccum gauge it doesn't do anything! Could this be the problem? Or is there another explaination? Def think its Fuel related. Please help supposed to be cruising to Spain in it in Se…

How hard is it to replace the steering rack and any idea's on cost or can i replace both boots along with internals e.t.c (sorry if that is a stupid question but its the only part on cars that i have never touched . ;)

What Car seats (second stage), fit into the back seats of a 300zx 2+2 1995? Have to puchase 1 shortly.

Looking at a possible engine replacement,so I'm checking to find out if there would be any major problems fitting a UK spec tt engine into a tt import.

Done about 500 miles in the Z this weekend and I've noticed the car has started making a whining noise as I accelerate. It's coming from the engine bay and sounds just like the noise a supercharger makes :confused: Car is running great but a bit worried what it might be :eek:

I am going to remove my spoiler on my TT and have been informed i will need a replacement piece that sits on the bottom of the boot lid, (black strip) does anybody know where i can get one of these from? cheers

everytime i start my car up from cold the fan belt squeels for about 2 or 3 minutes, it only does this when there is no load on the clutch, i.e in neutral or in gear, if i slowly bring up the clutch with my other foot on the brake so the car is almost stalling, the squeel goes, but as soon i go to pull away normal the squeel comes back... what belt is this likely to be? does it need tightening or replaceing? how do i tighten it? cheers guys

Used to love james 300 car and it has crossed my mind to maybe try something similiar on the convertible. If someone could do me the honour of changing the colour of the bonnet/headlamp panel/A post and mirrors to black. Yippee! Christ, i don't know who's sock i've sucked up above but Zena is alive! :nana2: :nana2: :nana2: :hyper: :hyper: Did a compression test and all cylinders were spot on so though i'd eliminate each ignition fault one by one. Eventually decided to hunt down the alarm system, checked the ecu and found jiggling it around made the alarm set off (which hadn't worked for 5 days) Got one bank working and after a few attempts eventually got both sides of the engine working. 1 cylinder was misfiring so checked the coil pack and found some numpty had inserted 2 rubber seals instead of 1 so took it out, reseated the connector and it now idles perfectly,…

I bought a second hand boost controller (Greddy Profec B spec) and the fitting instructions show 4 different fitting diagrams based on : Wiring/piping diagram Internal (swing valve) type 1 Wiring/piping diagram External (popet valve) type Wiring/piping diagram Internal (swing valve) type 2 wiring/piping diagram Internal (swing valve) type 3 Ive just fitted a pair of BOVs, which of the above is the right diagram, Also what should I set the dip switches at? Any help would be very much appreciated, coz as usual Im at a total loss :headvswal

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any good tips or products relating to touching up paintwork? I got a couple of little chips and a scratch mark or two that i wanted to try and remove myself & thought id see what was good. The cars black 1990 if that makes any difference.

Right, 1st post I have a 90 300zx biturbo auto :( i kno, automatic Driving it the other day, all was fine. slowly i started to hear a clicky noise from the engine, so i thought o god, better head home. On way home, clicky noise got louder and a nasty grinding sound occurs when in D and accelerating. Nearly home i have hardly any power and lots of smoke from engine bay and under car. Open bonnet, no water or anything, so i pull out the engine dip stick and smoke/steam coming from the tube and the oil is a nasty black colour. I go to clean the dipstick and the oil is so hot i got burnt through lots of paper towels. 5 mins later i touch the oil cooler to see…

Saw a red 300zx going towards the black cat roundabout at the junction of the A421 and the A1. At about 15.50 today. I ws going the other way with Spongey just behind.
