As above, around 4.15 this afternoon........ I saw a red UK spec on the A404 coming from the Wycombe direction at the roundabout where it meets the A413. It was turning right towards Amersham/London. I was in the red ZX coming from Amersham turning right onto the A413towards Aylesbury. Anyone? Richard:cool:

Hi all (firstly as im sure u already know my mechanic's skills are not the best ) but while checking my belts today to confirm the one thats needs adjusting I noticed a slight tapping noise coming from the engine , now ive not noticed this with the hood closed so hopefully that should give a idea of loudness' as soon as i noticed it i tried to pin point and it seems to be coming from directly under the centre of the plastic cover over Plenums (i know that's pretty vage):wack: However the noise does increase to a degree in rate with engine rev im thinking valves etc but praying it's not:bow: any advice would be appreciated - Tha…

Hello Currently looking to improve the car so was hoping to find some parts, These parts are needed for a 1993 300zx twin turbo jap import I am looking for; Dump valve Boost gauge front bumper, like the one andrei is advertising on the zx for breaking, or a custom one with decent ground clearence. high level spoiler Targa roof rubbers bonnet stops Silicone hoses for engine, trying to make it look nicer underneath I think that is all.lol. After owning my zed for a few months now ive finally got all the little problems sorted. Now iam ready to start modifying her, so where should i start. Its a pretty much standard tt the only modifications are 19inch rims and a blitz sonic power induction kit and thats it. Any advice from you zedders would be great:hyper:

Hopefully somebody can help me here. The car starts first time everytime from cold. However after she is started, if I hit a bump, it looses power and switches itself off, leaving only the ignition lights, hicas etc on. It then can sometimes take an age to start again. Also if I don't hit a bump or if I approach 3000rpm the same thing can happen. It either switches off or looses power and splutters violently. If I accelerate hard, same thing happens. After it is being drove for a while and the engine has warmed up, it does it less frequently but it still occurs. The problem is it can occur at any stage, even when passing out other cars and that is a nightma…

Are eibach springs and drop KYB AGX shocks still the most popular choice for the zed? Who sells them? Are these the best on the market or a finances/performance trade off? Many thanks

Hi all. My Z shakes really badly when you break hard froma high speed. Why could this be? The discs and pads all look ok. It doesnt feel very safe so want to sort it asap

As i only live 1/2 from Portsmouth, me, lady and zed went for a day out on Isle of Wight Yesterday. Ive never been there, but it great, from the ferry to Sandown and Isle of wight zoo, wicked loads of tigers, then down across country to the Needles. Some fantastic roads, and hills and views stunning. Nice sunny day, targas off and a full tank of fuel. Stopped in a few pubs and then back home at 9pm ferry. Tried contacted Groover to meet up, but kept going to answer. Sorry mate, will be over again before xmas. If you havent been over, take the zed, well worth it. Sorry no pics as it lost its power after i dropped it. Stu

Hi guys, im in the process of taking my engine out to do piston rings and bearings etc, while its out im going to remove the air con while im at it as i never use it and it needs re-gassing anyway, just wondered what else i can do while its out, i might be wrong but a guy i spoke to said about egr removal? is he right? if so any advice or links to pages with step by step instructions on how to do it and what it actually does anyway would be appreciated, thanks

I'm hoping to fit a fancy noise canceling microphone just behind the sun visor for hands free calling/computer control/wasting time and money. The best way for the cabling to go would be over the headlining and down into the boot but i can't see any obvious ways of dropping it down. Anyone done anything like this before? Cheers Dave

Personally I don´t like any body kits for the Z and much prefer the original look. Hi guys, iam looking to upgrade my brake discs. Iam going to be using my standard calipers and ive got 19" rims fitted not sure what size i can go up to, any ideas most welcome.

Can anyone tell me how long the adjuster screw is on their blitz BOV's asmine sound like an owl only at high boost, no response an lower end and my thinking is they need set up. Cheers John

changing revs 100-200rpm when i take pressure off accelerator, the revs jump up about 200rpm, and the go back down when i put pressure back on a bit of a pain on the motorway , when your cruisin and just feathering the throttle just had box off to fit new engine so could it be a sensor, ive not connected properly, or bad connection somewere or possibly, faulty torque converter, as i did not put mine onto the new engine, as one was already fitted when i got it, so rather than damage something, swapping them over, i left it on ?? hope its something simple, dont fancy dropping that box again:headvswal
