Hello all, I noticed that my heater was getting a bit cold when it should be warm the other day and had to top radiator up but dident think much of it so I went out last night parked up, got out and noticed a small trail of water, looked under the zed and noticed a water leak from driver side? There is a red breather pipe hanging down but the leak is next to it? Im hoping its not the water pump? this was replaced 5000miles ago with the full service but I asked my mate to fit a genuine one but he dident! if anyones had a similar leaks in this place any advice would be great??? Iv got very little time to sort it today my 18month daughters ill so cant do alot till she sleep…

I just came across this and thought it may be of use to people with overfuelling issues.. In this tutorial we look at the actuators and components that affect the vehicle's exhaust emissions when the electronically controlled fuel injection system is found to be overfuelling. http://www.picoauto.com/tutorials/emissions-components-actuators.html

When upgrading ic's does this raise boost in any way or can you just do a straight swop without changing anything like fuel/timing etc? or will this be an instant performance gain?

heya everyone, ive just registered as i bought a TT a few weeks ago and am so far enjoying my project. Have owned so far a tuned civic, an mr2 and a supra non turbo but this one i fell in love with the quickest. my first question (of many) is this.... my headlights are crap, ive noticed that there are lots of complaints along the same lines. had them checked by a garage today to find out why they are so dull and was told the electrics are fine and that i will need to change the actual headlight units as he thought the reflective-ness has melted away... someone suggested in another thread that they could just need cleaned out.. can i gain my light back by cleanin…

Who has these fitted? Show me your pics and fitting locations thanks. Im looking at buying (yes more spending) some omp seats with harnesses. Im thinking i can strap them to the original front inside belt bolt(tranmission tunnel) and then to the rear seat belt locations, but what will i do about the outside strap? mine is jap spec and its on the door ggrrrrrr. Does anyone happen to know if there is a hole or bolt location on that side i could use? Or do i have to weld a plate and nut there? One other thing, who has omp seats fitted? where did you get brackets from or did you have to fabricate some?

I came across the following link when I was thinking about eventually changing my stock intercoolers. It may be useful to anybody considering doing likewise. It may not have all brands but it covers quite a few. From the date on the post, it is around 2 years old, so there may have been further developments from each manufacturer but I doubt it. Hope the link is of some use. http://www.zdriver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19694

Hi All, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EeNZluEhydE I was watching the top gear comparisons of the Zed's on another link posted by Legrath I think. My assumption is that the car between the 300zx TT and the 350Z which JC drives is a SWB N/A Z32. Can't get a right look at it. Can anybody confirm that? If it is, it seemed to get a terrible start off the line, but I was still surprised how far down the field it finished. Is the NA that slow? Cheers, Colm

Guys - starting to develop an issue getting car into reverse. Happens occassionally. It can be difficult to select reverse. Sometimes I have to put it into 5th when its stationary and then down to reverse, which always works. I was watching "The Garage" one night and there was a similar problem on a Golf or something and it was put down to a bush on top of the gearbox which needed replacing. (Yes - I am trying to learn and the information provided on the garage suits my near total lack of knowledge ;) ) Has anybody experienced a similar problem and what was the remedy? Cheers Colm

Eventually managed to get my engine and gearbox out today, its the first time I have tried on a zed or any sort of car. Quite pleased with myself.:) I might take the gearbox off first next time, might be a bit easier. Once I have finished stripping the rest of the car I can start rebuilding the engine.

I've got a new set of Focal VR component speakers for the front doors (yeehaw). Just wondered if anyone had cut a set of tweeters in a front door panel and if so where abouts in the door without hopefully cutting the steel behind. Cheers Mike
