Can you guys give me a going rate for Injectors (N/A) and coil packs as i looked on ebay and nearly fell over when i saw them!! both new and used.... Rich Trying to decide if its worth it to remove them from my spare car before she goes to the scrapie in the sky...

As mentioned in the what I did today thread, I have a coolant leak coming from my heater matrix. While this is being replaced I thought it would be a good idea to flush the coolant system. Has anyone used a radiator/coolant flush additive, such as Wynn’s for example, on their Zed? More importantly, does anyone know if such additives/flush treatments are likely to cause any harm or have an adverse effect on my cooling system. Thanks

Hi guys Does anyone know the autobox sump plug size? Its got a slight weep so want to get it changed over Christmas with all the other parts I've stockpiled. Cheers

hi guys, i am having bucket seats and 5 point harness installed in the new year, however i have nowhere to mount the harness, i know that a few people have done it to rear strut brace or rear seat belt anchor points but that's not for me, i would much rather have a half cage or 6/7/8 point cage, i ideally want to keep the rear seats in so my lads can still sit in the back any suggestions? or anyone got some pics of something similar? cant really find anything on the internet with people keeping rear seats in but i imagine 2 points would go to boot floor and a bar across?

Right so drained my autobus after overfilling it! Luckily mine has the drain plug so we were able to do it the easy way. Roughly 4 litres were removed before it stopped coming out the drain. Drain plug refitted and we filled it with a litre and checked the level on the dipstick and we go correct readings (5times) when warm and when cold. This just doesn't seem right as we only put a litre back in? Can anyone advise on how this can happen I'm so confused :)

Hello All, I have a set of chrome dash cluster rings to fit so that should be reasonably straight forward. Whilst the cluster is out I would like to do other things as well... The glass/plastic is scratched from a previous careless speedo conversion so I would like to replace that is anyone has one, and also I woudl like to upgrade the leds as they are dull as hell. Could someone please link me to leds that will swap right in to the cluster? I might do the pods at the same time ?...

I feel utterly stupid asking this question, but......... Any tips for removing the 2 air pipes in the picture below. I've got a power steering leak and to get to the culprit I need those off, yet there seems to be no play whatsoever on them. To be fair, they actually feel glued in place, is it just a case of get them warm via a hair dryer (or blast around for 30mins) to make them more pliable? Or is there something basic here I should know?

Are these "new" sprayable vinyl outfits just offering PlastDip in disguise, PlastDip with another name, or is it a completely different product? Anyone with experience of a complete respray?

Hey guys! My buddy got me a pretty awesome NRG quick release and steering wheels for my birthday and I'm having troubles finding a short hub so I can install it... I have never looked into even getting a quick release wheel so I am at a complete loss right now. I looked on NRG's website and they only have the short hub for my car without HICAS.. I didnt even know there was a different hub for the 2.. Could anyone explain why there is a difference or possibly point me in the direction for a hub so I can get this beauty installed? I know this is going to pain some people's eyes but I couldn't help think about smoothing the tailgate onto the body and making a small trunk opening. Does anyone share my curiosity or am I alone with this thought? Certainly different. I'll give it a Photoshop when I get home.

We took my silver zed out to a private road ( genuinely a private road) to run some tests on it, Baring in mind I'm running on actuator pressure only, and the clutch is slipping ( yeah I know not the best idea to test but I've only time we could use the road for a month or 2) I'm having trouble getting it to put its power down, worst was when the boost came on at 120mph it spun the tyres again, I need advice tips on how to counter this, It needs a big wing that's a given to help with the high speed stability, thinking of getting wider wheels maybe some 10.5 j to help, would softening the rear suspension help? Feels like it's jumping around a bit too much, I'm c…

It's been a while since I've been on here so I thought I'd drop in and see what's going on. I've not had much time in the uk this year but I did manage to get back and give the 300 a good drive. Unfortunately I do have smokey turbos, but that will be sorted next time.

I think i have Over filled autobox after gbox change. I was told 7.5ltrs. Only drove it a mile and it wasn't shifting up properly at higher revs and was bouncing of limiter. Was also smoke coming from what I believe is the breather on the gbox on the back right of the engine near battery! Does this the shifting sound like it's because there is to much oil? Or could it be another issue with the box I'm worried as not had chance to drain it yet and it was a used box I purchased on merit! Would also appreciate confirmation on the correct fluid and amount needed

Does anyone know if an aftermarket TT steering wheel hub/boss is compatible with a NA model? I know the NA doesn't have HICAS and that you can get different kits specifically for them, however I've come across a good second hand TT hub. Well, unfortunately the time has come for me to put my health before my cars, never thought i'd say that, but there it is. After spending better part of a week in hospital (Again!) with possible Septic Shock (Again!!) i just don't have the energy any more to maintain, modify, look after, climb in, out and under. Also picking up infections in cuts etc which due to my low immune system (kidney transplants) keeps putting me in Hospital. I've been lucky so far, so i think its time to bow out gracefully. So i would just like to say a big thank you to all the Members who have helped me. I still think the 300ZX is the most striking sports car ever built and the Convertible …
