Posted December 22, 20168 yr In all my time on this forum and face to face chatting, i have never had anybody mention these guys from the website below. They are even in Stoke on Trent, so why do we place orders from over the pond and have duty, VAT, etc ? Early in December i placed online a small order of 4 oe parts, 3 were in stock, the gear centre console wasn't and i was told it would be the usual 4-6 weeks from Japan which is not a problem, after just 3 weeks then my order arrived today :cool3:. http://www.nissangenuine.com/
December 22, 20168 yr How did their prices compare to US plus duty and tax? She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.
December 22, 20168 yr Author I did my research......from the zcentre the console is £30, from nissangenuine it's slightly less at £27.66 and from czp they're 40USD before anything is added. Shipping for my small lot was £4.99 :).
December 22, 20168 yr Author and to Nissan dealers? Isn't everywhere cheaper than the main dealer, perhaps someone could check the part number 96931-40P00 with them.
December 22, 20168 yr I will defiantly be giving them a try, next time I need some OEM parts. Thanks Andy :cool2:
December 22, 20168 yr Retails at £26.28 +vat, I've just ordered one for me, but mine was £22 Inc staff privileges hehe...
December 22, 20168 yr Author Retails at £26.28 +vat. To clarify at nissangenuine they're £23.20 without the VAT, although £25.89 is crossed out - might be like that all the time though. I have run a few parts through their website over the last 3 weeks and their prices are spot on imo.
December 23, 20168 yr Think I have looked at them before, but a lot of stuff was out of stock so I didn't order
December 23, 20168 yr Author My gear console was out of stock but even that was delivered into Stoke from Japan and then onto me and all this took exactly 3 weeks. Buy from the states and it can take 2 weeks anyhow, more expensive in the first place, then shipping, plus the uncertainty over duty, etc, i think the term here is 'go figure'. Just received this personal email from them........ 'Hi Andy, Thanks for taking the time to write, I'm very glad we met expectations. Z32 parts will be a bit hit and miss, as I'm sure you've found, but we'll always endeavour to find anything we are asked for, whether it's in the UK, Europe or Japan, and keep prices under RRP. Great cars, I've always wanted one! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and the Z32 Forum! Mike' Edited December 23, 20168 yr by phutumsch
