Just bought a gunmetal Twin Tubby 300 and will be driving it tomorrow from Milton Keynes to Doncaster, so I'll pretty much be flying up the M1 somewhere after 2pm tomorrow, keep an eye out. Some of you may know me from a few years back when I was in SkylineOwners and GTR Owners with an R32 GTR and you may well know the missus from Celica Owners and Toyota Owners. That was all about 5 years ago before we went out to NZ for 5 years. Looking forward to attending some club events and things soon and really looking forward to the car show season next year. :tongue_smilie:

hey everyone, just wanted to start a nother thread on my zx as my old one was over a year ago and it wasnt on the road back then. Well its now finally on the road, after 2 years on the drive being started every few weeks or so, i bought the car off my dad and got it moted and taxed and now having lots of fun just pottering around in it. I love how it drives being nice and low to the ground and corners superbly ive never drove anything like it, as you allknow the 300zx is a brilliant car to drive, im very happy lol. Mine is a non turbo 1990 h reg manual, i wudlike a twin turbo in the future but im only 20 non turbo is more than enough power for me lol. I think for its a…

Alo I'm new to the fun of owning a zed, I've had mine since October (also my first car). So far everything is going well, took it to zedworld on Friday and got it looked over. Seems as though appart from a new set of tyres on the front everything is great! Had a suprising discovery though that it had been chipped so that I can turn up the boost pressure from 10 to 14psi. What I'm wondering is what will this do to the turbos in the long run? Also how do I even go about changing the current setting? Jim

Hi everyone my three older brothers have owned and driven Zeds from the 240 upwards for a very long time, i wanted to be the black sheep of the family and stick to normal cars, much to their disapproval. So... i was given a 91 ZX300, N/A manual ...........and wrap me in wool and douse me in bleach....i'm hooked .......line and sinkered. It's the best thing my a**e has had the pleasure to sit never mind drive. I am now complete and find myself tech talking with them now and polishing ... It's almost like i've found religion. The possibilities are endless and being a avid modeller it kind of ticks all my boxes. i HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT Thanks:lol

Hello everyone. At this point in time I'm not actually a 300zx owner, but chances are I will be very soon. Before I make a purchase I do have several questions, however, some relating to the car I am interested in (i.e. it's value, whether it's worth it etc) and the insurance (of which I am having difficulty finding anyone to back me for a reasonable price). If someone could point me in the right forums for these inquiries I'd be grateful. Cheers, JB.

Hi all, i have found myself a nice 93 manual tt swb in silver and just wanted to offically say hello to all and looking forward to putting my own mark on it. Of course she has a few issues with a couple of dings here and there. Interior is pretty mint apart from steering wheel looks like its been chewed by a dog. seats and everything are like new. My biggest problem is its only running on 5 cylinders.. but at the massively discounted price i bought it for i couldnt pass up the opportunity to own a SWB after owning a tt auto and a tt manual lWB in the past. i drove it 220 mile home and apart from the missing cylinder it feels really good. any how now on…

[/img] [/img] In dire need of a respray, but insides reasonably tidy little bits of tinkering allready being done. GReddy PRofec B-spec 2, another HKS boost controller gizmo, strut braces front and rear, to induction cone filters, what sounds like an uprated fuel pump, and god knows what else has being fitted. on the pluss side though, only done 50k! Thanks to Janus for the photo knowhow.

Hi everyone. Picked up my first zed the weekend it belonged to 300zx_dre. It's an 89 manual in pearl white. Can't believe how clean it is and how tight it feels for such an old car. The car looks standard which I like. Few jobs I need to get sorted urgently. Firstly get a stone chip repaired on screen. Cambelt change and get a spare key cut. Also need to subscribe! I wondered if any key cutting place could duplicate the key? Is it best to have the water pump and belts changed with the cambelt? Are there many club members near me in the west mids? Cheers Ashley

Hi folks,I'm Billy, been here for a couple of weeks so I thought I'd best say hello. First up I don't own a Zed as yet although I'm hoping to have one early next year. I currently have an IS 200 Sport (my 3rd one) and although I plan to keep it I want a Zed also. I've been a long time admirer of the 300ZX and now I have set my mind on owning one. Anyway, I look forward to being around and hopefully being a 300ZX owner early next year.

Hi guys, just bought my first 300ZX last week and am loving it so far! My recent cars have been 2.8 Golf VR6's and 2.2 Honda Prelude's but I wanted to step up to some turbo-charged, RWD action. :cool2: It's pretty much standard I think with the exception of a couple of bits and pieces. It was imported from Japan around 2004. There are a couple of jobs that need doing - some more important than others though..... I'm looking forward to being it's owner.

Last night i purchased my first Zed :D after trading in my clio 182 cup, lost a lot of money but so far worth it. i now own a 1991 Auto twin turbo 2+2 z and its amazing, the sence of presence on the road is overwhelming. i got my first of very few mods this morning...Aero wiper blades! ;) needs work doing such as new heater matrix a service and some fibreglass filler also i think the NS front damper is knackered. Also any got any good ways to clean up the original mats its as if they have been dipped in Mcdonalds chip fat ovens then been dragged through a quarry so advice on that would be helpful. so anyway yeah, hey all.
