Hi all! I'm after a manual TT and i intend to use it daily. I've had a 200sx s14a for the last 6 years and wondered if anyone on the forum had experience of these and how they compare to the zed? I've got a budget of around £5000 and was after something lightly modified with fairly standard looks. I've noticed one on pistonheads and wondered if anyone knew the car or what thoughts you had on it? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1649708.htm The second one i like is modified which goes against what i said but it seems like a lot of car for the money. it strikes me its been for sale a long time. Any thoughts? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1581701.htm…

Hi everyone!! Nice site, looking to get a Zed sometime soon... ....looking for something understated, with plenty under the bonnet, not too fussed about auto/manual, SWB or 2+2, in an ideal world it would be a Black SWB manual but I'm willing to consider good, robust, clean examples. Also looking for recommendations on where to get a Zed serviced/repaired/etc.. Thanks, Mat

Hi All, Just got my first Z32, purchased directly from Bigman himself. Its a fine looking machine as regulars in here will likely already know ! No plans as yet for it apart from getting my own reg plate. Drove it all the way from Rotheram and it was one fine drive home. Any Scots in here thats nearby give us a shout as I would love to meetup. Lee

Hi everyone, I'm a big Nissan fan but don't actually own a 300zx. I attend JAE and am one of the organisers on the AOC. I just wanted to introduce myself before I started posting :) I'm doing a bit of search for an Almera project and there's a few parts from the 300zx that could be useful, so I'll be checking out the for sale and posting in the wanted section if that's ok? :) Recently I bumped into a new owner of a Z32 while I was working. I took a sneaky pic. The chap said he'd had it 2 weeks but hadnt gone on to the owners club yet (the car has your club stickers on it). I recommended he joined and also go to JAE this year :) Have you joined mate? Anyone…

Hello All ! I've finally made it, finally have it on the drive, finally experienced the rush on boost with the sun above me... I finally have a TT! After a long time of thinking should I and can I, I've finally gone and bought one! And I know I shouldn't buy the first one I see, but the bloke was genuine and that was enough. I'm going to book it in to zed world tomorrow for a list of jobs that, hopefully, should buy me some reliability. There is an oil leak visable underneath towards the back of the engine, the steering wheel can be turned about 5mm without the wheels noticing, the fluids need to be changed and an oil cooler added. Oh and I knew it wa…

I am a new Zed owner. I have recently been given a 300ZX as a birthday gift by my very kind wife. Taking it tomorrow to Zedworld in Tamworth for a full service and to look over it thoroughly. Complete newbie, no previous car history (I drive a diesel Skoda normally) so I look forward to being guided and advised by the good members of this forum. Car seems pretty standard unmodified import, although I know nothing about engines etc beyond topping up oil and water... Will update with some pics later this week after the service and once I have given it a wash. Wish me luck. I intend to keep this car forever, it is a true dream of mine to own it…

Hello all, As a japanese car fanatic, I felt it was time to indulge again. I've owned a MK1 MR2, MK2 Turbo MR2 and most recently an FTO Mivec and Mazda Eunos. I've now reached the golden age of cheap insurance and want to get myself a 300ZX TT. As a Nissan employee, I regulary see these cars and have fallen for them. What I want to know is basically this: in your well informed opinion, would you start with an auto TT or find a manual car. I see that auto TTs are plentiful, (but after owning the FTO with the auto box I have developed a strong dislike for them). I'm approaching the stage where I am looking to buy, and need an educated point into the right di…

Hi, I signed up a long time ago, thought I'd introduce myself & say hello. Always been a big fan of 300's just never owned one  I’ve got a wide-arched candy blue Pulsar GTiR & an S13 200sx I like to try driftin with! I used to co-own Borocruisers for many years. Also I’ve worked organising various shows such as ists & jts. Now you may see me about with IgnitionShows and working with Modified Nationals, so I’ll keep you all up to date with the latest news for 2010 and hope to see some of you this year. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Cheers

Hi, I've been looking to purchase a 300zx recently. I've got a Primera GT at the moment, so I'm looking for something different. I'm looking for a manual NA model. I cannot afford to maintain a twin turbo model, but finding them seems to be quite difficult. The other problem I have is insurance. I've been using comparison websites, and I can't seem to get them to recognise the car registration plates. I'm wondering if most of them have had their plates changed at some point? If I don't use the registration plate look up and put it in manually, there is no option for a NA model. According to the websites, the only models that exist are a Turbo and Turbo-Auto. So findi…

Greetings all, I'm not new to the Z32, but new to this site. My current Z is my 2nd, and likely wont be my last. I just moved from the US to northwestern Germany in January, and I plan to use my Z as much as I can afford the fuel to see all the car enthusiast sites in Europe. I have lots of family in England, primarily in and around Norwich. I would like to drive over this year sometime and coincide the trip with some sort of Z-related event. I use my Z for fair-weather driving, recreational track days, and recently overhauled the engine bay so that it would be in proper shape to participate in car shows. Work schedule permitting, I am usually always …

Hi there, I'm ste & recently i have been looking at 300zx's a lot & wanted to know more about them before buying one... Although this will be my transport to work & back it's only a 10 mile round trip so wont usually be doing any more than 50 miles (ish) a week in it, For trips into town etc. we will be using her car so this is gonna be my baby lol. I currently own a 2002 Vauxhall Vectra 2.6 V6 GSi & yeah it's got all the toys & not a slow car by any means (200bhp) but the exitement factor is slowly starting to fade & i thought i had better start looking for it's replacement which will be in the coming months... I'm gonna be looking at spendin…

What can I say, A few months ago my son went over to the dark side and bought German  after untold Japs He went out today for a part for his VR6 and came back with this instead. Its a Twin Turbo manual and goes like stink. He sold the Golf and bought this for only £1000 which is a steal. It needs some small bits doing but nothing major I reckon about £500 and its back to former glory Lucky B**tard :nana2: At least there's another Zed in the family :yes:
