  1. So, it was too hot to stay cutting down trees, took a break at lunchtime and said I’d revisit my AMG calipers, removed the original Merc bracket and installed my new one, I’ve hit a couple of problems, 1. My hubcentric spacers leave me with the studs protruding?? 2. I’ve a “Good News” and “Bad News” scenario with my wheels... The “Good News” is that these 8 pot AMG’s fit inside an 18” wheel, the “Bad News” is that the spoke design on both my 19” Work Equips and my 18” Veilside Andrew’s means I’m going to have to push them out further than the 25mm spacers:thumbdown: The other “Good News” is that the spoke design of my Volk GT-C’s is perfect both using the 9” and the 8” wheels, so “Food for thought” there:thumbup1: Anyone any reasonable solutions?? I’m assuming I can just get shorter studs for these 25mm spacers and if I’m going out 30-40mm for the flat spoke wheels it shouldn’t be and issue? Anyway, here’s a few pics ...
  2. Thanks for the info Pete, I'll bear that in mind when the time comes :thumbup1:
  3. They look like brand new again Pete:thumbup1: I think I'll have to consider these for the shortie:thumbup1:
  4. Just my opinion, but I think the first set look fragile with those 90* spoke angles, the Z is a heavy, powerful car and I'd be nervous driving around on those. Have you seen some of the stories online of lads who had wheels break up at speed?? The second set look like OZ replica's and at least they'd tie in better with the car.:thumbup1:
  5. Take your time pal, I know it's frustrating, but "baby steps" is the way forward :thumbup1:
  6. At least you can drive your Zed to work this morning:yes: I'm at work pal, had to drive here in an '06 Renault Megane:thumbdown: So count your blessings:lol:
  7. Sold it a couple of weeks ago, I’m afraid Gaz. Actually... I gave it away to a chap in need of one:yes:. I can be charitable at time s:biggrin:
  8. Happy birthday buddy
  9. I don't think that looks too bad at all Pete, what's it like against the car??
  10. Ah man, that's rotten luck Nick:no:. These cars are headwreckers and heart breakers:sad: Keep the chin up mate, you've a beautiful car that will be epic:thumbup1:
  11. Pete is right, I did a couple of Group Buys a while back (Wiring Looms & Throttle covers) and to be honest, it was extremely hard work, what with lads committing and then backing out, raising the money etc, needing a certain amount to commit to recieve the discount, what with customs duties, shipping etc. It was hard going.
  12. I'll be looking for a boot spoiler, lip and skirts later in the year, when I've cleared all my outstanding debts :innocent::yes:
  13. Ah Joel, it must be so frustrating for you, really feel for you dude. You know where I am if you need me :thumbup1::innocent:
  14. Happy birthday Chris:happybday:
  15. Tom, I think you’re going to need divorced downpipes to hook up to those test pipes, they won’t bolt up to the OEM downpipes bud. Here’s a pic of what you’re going to need :thumbup1:
  16. My third Z that I got in my job lot :thumbup1:
  17. I know the owner, he bought my red Z to use to rebuild it, he’s lost interest and has bought an Audi S5
  18. I use two teaspoons, one either side so as not to break the centre
  19. Think they might be for just the lenses Joel, I don't think that's the whole unit?? https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-b6155-30p00-fog-light-assembly-lh-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32_p_2641.php This looks like the complete unit:scared:
  20. Rooted out my UK spec series 1 clocks and got to work cleaning them up, they had no Perspex cover for the last 20 years, so I had to give them a good scrub :thumbup1: I’ve ordered some 501 led bulbs to fit into them and then they’re going into the red car along with a perfect condition binnacle. The reset push is broken so I’ll be stripping out one of my old sets of clocks
  21. Cheers Andrew, “if you’re going to do it, at least do it right”:thumbup1: Thanks for your info on the leading pistons
  22. Called over to the machine shop and picked up my AMG calipers  Bottom of calipers machined to take the crossover tubes :punk: Now just need to sort out adapter brackets, new crossover tubes, powdercoat and rebuild to fit to the blue Z in June :thumbup1:
  23. Had a door handle shipped to me from Wales using Parcel2Go on 13/04/18, Received a phoncall from a lady in Hounslow, London, to say she has my parcel, she was able to ring me to tell me my name, address and phone number is on the packet and she had contacted Hermes who had delivered it to her by mistake. She spent a week both phoning and web chatting to Hermes to tell them she had it and when were they collecting it, to be told it's not their problem!!!:mad: Parcel2Go have been informed and they say they'll collect it. Only for the honesty of this Lady, Hermes would've left it!!
  24. It’s down in Videos and Pics bud:thumbup1:
