Well Mrs has cottened on to how much i'm spending on the Zed :wack: And i promised the Holiday would come first so nows she holding me to it :cry: So While I finish paying for that i need some cheap things to do to keep me busy. The car is almost fully rebuilt and just needs a front bumper the side skirts then it can go off for the re-spray. I know about the AIV EGR and carbon cansiter removal, is there anything else that wont cost alot of dosh and will keep me out of trouble?? I thought about polishing the plenum my self, but havent got the tools or the space really,i have 2 young children and she wont let me use the kitchen table :slap: I have stuill got to replace 3 of the 4 PCV hoses and both valves but my hands are far to big to get into thesmall space that Mr Nissan left to do it :cry: Any other recomendaions???? I'm currently in the process of finishing this off. (doesnt ever seam to have had one ) all the wiring is done just need to know the wire to connect it to. I'm planning on using the side light as a power supply, in the Pod which one is the side wire, be help full if you could say something like green wire 3rd from the right hand side of the plug car side bottom row!! lol but only if it right!! I have read through the FAQ section anditcomeup a few times about using the brake light as a power supply,have also been read that itcan cause a check light to illuminate as a warning! dont really want to have toworry if it's a real fault or not. Couldnt get a manuel conversion for that, let alone the rest of the car, ok it needs a clutch but hay....... could get one from the sale of the rest of the bits.

ahhh i see, an old Trick i learnt in the navy.... if you can get some rubber hose and put it on the runners, make sure it big enought to spin round the runners, thenifyou do catch it then the rubber willturn round te runners with the car rather than scratching the paint work... if you getwhat i mean. Fix it.... depending on chassis damage, dosent soundlike a lot of damage,maybe a couple of hundred for parts you can fit your self, the jig work if needed,then spraying of replaced body parts. be a shame to see another zed being broken.....
