Well was onholiday for a week and when i got back, my dash loom was waiting for me :dance: So yesterday started work on that, thankfully i had already removed the dash andtheold loom so was a case of just fitting the new one.all in all took about 2 hours, and that was putting the dash back in as well, butonly the dash, got my Uk clocks (thanks Legrath) to put in and then start withthe trim, this is the thing thats been holding me up putting her back together, all in all have been waiting for about 9 weeksfor a dash loom, one that didnt turn up then a few collection probs with this one :cry: And while i was on holiday browsing throght ebay as you do what do i see.... a dash loom, starting and finishing price....99p with £6 postageright model and year too :shock: bugger.. never mind got it and it's in now, just the rest of theinterior trim to put back in, a few bits from smithy and a new pcv set from mike, bumper and skirts from John and she's good to spray...... cant wait now hopefully end of Feb should see my girl going for an MOT :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: Neil

and the benifits, how are yours compared to a JWT chip, from what i been lead to believe the JWT chips are self learning?!?!? in reguards to if you disconect the neg terminal, it resets and then learns the best fueling/air for the mod you have, does yours do a simular sort of thing? sorry to jump on the thread but something i'm after in the next few months. I was looking at this RAC trackstar plus, if you read down it, you also get a brake down button, which i think is a really good idea. RAC TRACKSTAR PLUS I dont think the price is that bad either with a £325. life of ownership subscription. HTH Neil

Yes the origonal jap reg mark, wanted an origonal as a keep sake and then maybe a set for the car, seen a car in this months J tuner with a uk plate that had the jap reg mark above it, though it looked quite smart, not sure about the legality, but cross that bridge when i come to it. Will see if any of the traders can help. Neil

It's just for a year, the renewal is slightly cheaper.. Andy P is the treasurer, there might be a life time fee, i'm not sure. cant hurt to ask. The amioount of money you'll save by dioing things your self after asking for advice will payfor the subscription anyway. I've done thing's i'd never thought i'd be able to do, you only have to ask and some one will have done it and be able to help. Andy Duff and MAC 1 are just 2 of the ppl that know pretty much everything about the car. HTH Neil
