I'm not i'm in Basildon, at the moment, a releif manager for another company, they send me all over the fooking place, which is why i want to settle down closer to home.

i use an Omega as my daily hack, and spend on rebuilding the zed when i can, i've owned it for about 10 months now and havent even driven it! ok a few little small treips up to the round about and back, but thats it, done about 30 miles in it since owning it. i know how you feel, i just want it finished, now but know i've got about another £2000. till it's just how i want it. chin up though, get a cheap run around, i paid £600 for an R plate omega on ebay, and the only thing it needed for an MOT was a ball joint a knew a spanner monkey and got it all sorted and the MOT for £60.00, just needs a new exhaust now, but i call that a running cost. as has been said , spend when you can and what you can, try get some of your life back, and in a month or 2 have another think about it, if you still feel the same then get shot and if you want get another one. at the end of the day all the advise here is good advise but only you can make the decission. Right hope this makes sense! Overall the boot (2+2) length is 52" hight 28 1/2" deep 13 1/2" this is to the fllor pan, nothing in the boot (tool kit foam or spare wheel. right now you have the ABS unit and everthing else in the top left and right corners. between the to covers of the ABS and the other side ( the bit that the load cover goes between is 42" and from the back of the car to where the cover star to go towards the center of the car is 16" the covers them selves go in from each side 5" and from the floor pan to the bottom of the boot trim, where the false floor would normally sit is 4 1/2" so in summary imagine a cube 52" x 28 1/2" x 13 1/2" then in the top left and right hand corners take away 2 cubes 5" x 12 1/2" x 9" hope this makes sense to you. it does me but then i have a diagrame in fromnt of me :) Neil

Pics from summer last year in my rides section, was hoping to be summer, JAE in fact as my new gaff is about 20mins from the ground, however bloody family holiday had to be paid for can see why the Mrs and kids wanna go on holiday anyway! cant they see the zed's not finished yet :nelson: And that's in may, so might try and get the respray done while i' away if i can find a pro to do it on a labour only as the paint cost me enough so dont wanna have to buy it through the sprayer all over again, AS soon as the bumper arrives and i get it on (still away alot at the moment) i get some new pic's done and up.... maybe ;) Neil

Well though i'd better post up a progress report as it's been about 6 months since the last one :o Anyway, As some of you will know i was promoted at the begining of Jan :D however that ment leaving the Pub where the zed was being rebuilt. Bugger :headvswal so after borrowing a front bumper off of Jaffa :bow: and getting no more that 13 miles down the road the car died double bugger :headvswal managed to get the Zed back to the Pub but was in a real stick situation, i had the Omega and the Zed at the pub, and was due to leave for good about 14 hours later! a quick stint on the interweb saw me with a top of the line RAC membership in my new address, which ment the zed wasnt at the home addy ;) after 48 hours it wouldnt have mattered but needed the car moved ASAP anyway a klittle bend iof the rules saw the Zed on the back of a low loader and on way to it's new home in March Cambs... which is where it has sat until about 5 weeks ago, due to the promotion i'm not getting home as much, so was spending time with the Mrs and Kids, however the start of the nice weather gave me a much needed kick up the ass. and things started to move.... I have the 4 pot lambo lights, and did have the 4 centre lights as the indicators, 2 either side but have decided to have 1 either side and have the left hand side as the reverse light and the right hand side as the fog light (that i finished wiring up today) save time i may go back to the first methord, but will have to wait and see how i feel at some point in the future. i was still buying stuff and have now got a nice little pile of things for her! Including HICAS elimintaor, REar SPL sub frame bushes, a new bumper is on the way, as is the Alarm and i'm half way through fitting the POPer kit, i would have finished today but A snow storm put an end to my time on the old girl!! :eek: I've also been spending some time going over the body work sorting out any little niggles i have found, filling and sanding any little imperfections, quiet therputic really, :D I have all the paint ready for the respray and just waiting for a bit to arrive so i can finish flattening down and finish fitting the rear bumper skin. I've also decided on the install i want and have started to get a few bit's needed for that, and a fw little ideas forming about a re-designed dash ;) Still need to decide on some wheels, although i quiet like the HIro wheels, een them made by a few different ppl, suspension and side skirts( cant seam to find any that jump out and shout "me me... it's me you want" but i'd be pretty scared if some side skirts did that! ;)) Well i'm sure your all board now, so i'll go and sit in the corner! i might be up for this is the cars benen resprayed yet! saying that i could let body work plus do it and then pick up the car at the photoshoot! sounds like a plan!

Right guys, First off an apology to anyone that this affends and to the MODs if this is a naughty thing to do. i've got my self involved with a children charity, Called "strong bones" and have decided to do a skydive! something i've never done before and cant say i will again, it's a registered charity, it's not one charity but a charity to help all of the childrens charities. if that makes sense. Have been round the pub over the last few days and have now got all of the regulars and all of my staff to sponsor me, and so far have raised £150.00. but now i'm at a loss to sponosrship, i need to raise a minimum of £375 before i can do the jump, but would like to raise another £350 if i can. I do a lot for charity in and around the pub but this is by far the biggest take that i have undertaken. todate i have raise well over £5000 for the charities that i support (mainly childrens Charities) So please would anyone care to sponsor me??? think it's kenwood cos i remember having to swap the wire's over but they thought of this because the 2 wires have bullet connectors half was down thre wires, just unplug and swap over, no cutting or soldering involved!

Darkside TT: My first Zed was a black one and at a meet there were alot of black ones there some said something about a darkside meet because of the amount of black ones! and it was a TT, So Darkside TT simple really
