No door handles and the doors don't open from the buttons on the car while the engine is running, it's also still fully armed whilst in engine start mode, as soon as you release the hand brake without the key in the ignition the engine dies..... only way to open the door is via the remote! No turbo time yet........ soon though. lol Neil

It's a falcon Preditor evo 4+, when the engineer was her yesturday, it's in the .3 second that wasn't long enough, so tried the .8 and it only just caught, so put it on the 1 second one, i'm not sure if it's connected to the the coil or the RPM but it's 1 of them, so it should make a difference? I'll have to look to see if there is an option to increase the RPM at which the alarm stops trying to start the car. got to set up all the options anyway today. The engineer had probs with the popper kit and getting it to do what i wanted it to do. bless him, he turned up at about 9.45 and left at about 7.30..... fooking earned his money yesterday i tell you. lol

Had my alarm fitted yesterday :dance: v happy poppers work off the alarm and everything is now safe and secure.... however, the remote start works, but only 50% of the time, what i mean is it works but the crank time doesn't seam to be long enough, the car turns over but doesn't always catch, i've got .3, .8 and 1 second settings, even on the 1 second one, when the car is cold it dose not want to play, anybody else had this prob, and how'd you get round it? A bigger batt? would that help at all?? Cheers Neil

Well front and rear bumpers are on and side skirts are on the way! I still cant believe how much of a difference it makes having a bumper makes! lol :p Spent so long with out one and it now looks like a car again, even the Mrs says it's looking good :shock: lol well just wanted to share that with you all. Next up, Alarm.... getting fitted Tuesday, picking up the rear seats tomorrow, as i haven't got any... long story don't ask! got some body prep to do and some general bits and pieces to do, need a retrim, but nippon have said they're not doing custom retrims anymore! :shock: So will have to look else where for that, will post up some pics once the skirts are on, hopefully thursday or friday. 1p under your over draft limit is still ok :tongue: i dont have an over draft, if you use it it's hard to get out of it. so best not to use it! it's only £12.00 i wouldn't worry too much

As above, what size wheels do you need to fill the arches on a wide arch Zed? Just out of interest really, seen Luke's spacers at 60mm :shock: so you need a good...what 12 1/2 - 13 inch wheel on the back? Cheers Neil

Some new after markert mirrors from? had a look on lukes webs site but always found his prices to be a bit on the steep side. Well i kinda liked having the only Zed in my Village, full of Scooby's and the like, and mine the only example of our fantastic car.............. until today :shock: came back from work for my days off, and the garage across the road has a black SWB N/A for sale.... bugger! :cry: On a H plate, Up for £3000. has a tail gate skin on but apart from that a very standard car, oh well :cry: :cry: if any body from mile and miles awasy is interested then i can take a look, must stress though you have to live miles and miles away, so i can have my exclusivness back :tongue: Neil
