Nice idea but had a 2 hour trip and down the M11 to drop it off so would have got used during the town country driving, before hitting the M11, thanks for the suggestion though. Neil :)

Door ones pull up windscreen ones slide up, Tagra ones un screw from under neather (requires removing of trim) the little ones rear of the tagras push them forward and they un-click. just looked at replacing mine and it's well expensive, dong them of a course of time might be an idea, but it's still £250.00 - £275.00 including VAT and delivery.the ppl that are trying the back to black route post up some pics because if it's cheaper then might go that way, although mine aren't just faded, they have started to flake and expose the metal underneath and i fear new ones are the only way to go. Gray tweed (S1 Jap spec).....until yesterday when i started to retrim.....now nice white leather ;) well apart from the drivers door :( run out of glue and need to get some more. so wont finish until tomorrow night now! Neil

After speaking to my sprayer the other day, he said that the brake pedal went straight down to the floor with no pressure behind it, when he was moving the car about the other day. now i have changed all of the disc's and pads a while back, and on the drive down the breaks did start to feel a little spongy and were basicly crap by the time i got to the spray shop, my question is has the fluid level dropped to a point where it needs topping up? do i need to bleed the brakes? or has the brake booster gone? i haven't got the car with me or anywhere near me so i cant really check, but the brakes being ok on the start of the journey and then being crap leads me to believe that i may (fingers crossed) just need to top up the fluid as it may have now settled after the pad and disc change. all answers on the back of a post card to the normal address ;) Neil

well just been to see it, and out in the sun is a bright vibrent yellow, so not even close to Shels Gold. think we'll put this to bed now! Neil

Just done exactly that and there is a rather noticeable difference, Shel's is deff Gold and mine is Deff Yellow, I think it's just the light in the picture. Neil

My picture was taken on a cam phone and in side a spray room, shels was taken out in the sun, maybe there is more difference than first meets the eye, i'm over there tomorrow i'll see if i can get some pics in the sun.

maybe it is a different colour, subtley different the colour was based around a Candy Yellow, not a Candy Gold and i have added afew things to the mixture. i cant say as i haven't seen Shels car in the flesh. At The end of the day i love the colour. This is what i wanted. I'm sorry if Shel's a little upset. Neil

I think thats a bit harsh as i've owned the paint for nearly a year, will will be a year in october, and i believe that your car was only completed about 3 months ago! so hardly a case of copying you. as i said it's a little darker than i would have liked, i was hoping for a real bright yellow. Anyway Sorry you feel like that.

Lets face it we dont drive these cars to hide in the shadows!! and with paint as brights as that i dont think i could if i tried! lol

It's a candy yellow, it looks a bit golder than i hoped, but on the advise of the paint manufacturers i used a silver base coat, ford moondust silver to be precise, it also with got Lemon lime metallic flake in it,which prob makes it look gold, it's not the same but similar to Shells, this has been in the pipe line for a while now, the sprayers had the car for about 4 months now, all most ended up a bare metal respray as the etch primer it was in was all knackered and blown, god knows what the previous owner had done to it, but it all needed to come off and start again. :headvswal :headvswal oh well nearly there going down to morrow to pick up the trim as i have started to retrim the interior, would help it i had it! so will take some more pictures after i've seen her in the paint so to speak. Post code for my place is PE13 1BL, but as i said i have no carpark, althought there is a nice pub called the Chequers in sutton on the Isle, I think there is also a Pub at the Barhill Exit on the M11, but not too sure of car parks and stuff. The alturnative is the Chaffod Hundrad pub, loads of parking and the car park is not normally busy, we've had a few meets there. Neil

Come on over to the pub, parking is a nightmare here as well dont have our own car park, just a freebie across the road, so you can imagine that it get full quickly with all the shop workers really early. let me have a think and see who interested and try and sort out something cenral to everyone. Parked up out side a house on Norwood Road, March.... About 2 mins from my housewas there from 5ish and was still there when i got home about 10.30ish. Havent seen it there before, may not be a member, but i'll change that! :) Neil
