my Bad, was really tired when i wrote that last night!

Well due to the complete lack of interest this has been cancelled. i have also recieved a PM for copper and he's cancelled his meet on Sat too, again due to the complete lack of interest. I cant beleiver that 2 Big meets have been cacelled because there was combined interest of about 7 pple over the 2 event FFS it dosent matter what is planned it seams you lot cant be bothered to do anything, looks like the weather would have been cracking as well! to say iom disapointed is a massive understatement! I booked the weekend off of work for these events, do any of you realise how hard it is for some like me who run's a pub to get a Friday and Saturday night off of work! it's almost unheard of! i really do not know why ppl bother to arrange stuff, even Daves meet at the cherry tree today..... he was by him self! 1 person to a meet!!!! rant over!

Well dropped my eldest daughter off at her Aunties for a week so thought i'd pop in and see how the cars coming on :) I spoke to the sprayer earlier on i the day and he was away playing golf but told me where the car was so off i went.................. and here's what greeted me.................................................... . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Just out of interest what software are you using for you carputer, i have mine and was going to put XP on it but kinda thinking that there is better software for it as i dont need all of the computer functions, just Music Sat nav, maybe the odd Vid, the only reason for xp was cos i can connect to the wireless at home and have internet, but may as well sit in doors and use it ;)

Well to start off with i'd like to apologise to all of the SE members, i havent been about much lately, due to problemes in my personal life, which i hope are now all sorted. Anyway enough of that and on to a brighter note, It's now only 12 days to the SE party and i'm 90% certain i should have the pheonix back by then :hyper: But after that theres not much planned :headvswal i'd like to thank Dave (deve8uk) for carrying on the Dick turpin meet, while i've been in a bad place, i have been reading through but havent posted anything up. I have read the copmmernt he made abpout the crap food ans stuff, and tend to agree, maybe a change in venue is in order, someone mentioned the Chafford hundrad pub as a possible meet location, it also happens to be the start venue of the summer party, but again the crap foo was mentioned, i run Pubs and can assure you that all the ready meals are pre cooked and frozen and microwaved on demand, the only thing that are cooked from fresh are the stakes and stuff, so i dont think it really matters where you go, i dont know the Cherry tree my self but a few of you do, if you guy local to there wanna meet up you go ahead, but for me it's about arranging meets for the SE reagon, and i need to think about location of the venues and ppl getting to and from, The Dick Turpin is a good venue due to it's location (A127), as is the Chafford Hundrad pub (M25) What about we move to the Chafford hundrad pub and have a regular meet every 3rd month, i feel that a monthly meet is out of the question as at the moment ppl are only interested in the internet side of the Club and not the meet side of it. which is upsetting as it's a good way to really get top know the other member's in your our area. I will as i get to know the area (the SE reagon cover quite a big area) put up local meets in the months in between so that I can get to know more of you, and for that i need your help, ppl that live in Brighton and Yarmouth i need to know Pubs in youir area that are big enoth to take a dozen of us turning up and stealling the car park for a few hoursrrey and Northern Cambridgshire area's bnut any idea would be a great help. the members from Peterbrough and surrounding areas, i'm closest to you lot so you'll see a great deal of me... hopefully. i've seen a few cars on my travels, a Green LWB about 2 weeks ago heading away from peterborough towards Wisbech and March about 4.30ish and Jaffaz32 seen you a few times but not since i started at the Wheatsheaf? nearly 2 months ago? Right on to the Summer party! This IMO has been a massive let down, loads of you posted up what a great idea it was and moaned when nothing seamed to be getting done, then when everything was sorted out and the dates and times put up, i got 2 defs 1 at each of the venues and maybe 2 or 3 maybes....... from the whole area! to be honest this is shocking! this will prob be the biggest SE meet of the year and 5 ppl have shown any sort of interest! to say i'm disapointed in a massive understatement! i will now be posting up a few planned met to cover the next few months once i have them sorted out. This Thread has been up for 3 weeks now and there have been 2 replys? WTF is going on, Everyone wanted a summer party, so i put up a poll for locations which ppl voted on, then a date was set at the winning location and nil interest? there is only 18 days left till this event, and so far there is 1 person for the Brighton run and 1 for the Chafford Hundrad run, As i said in the first post if there is not enough interest then i will just cancel the event! As i said i dont intend to sit in a car park will only 1 other member. rant over!

I was thinking the very same thing myself :confused: PPl go mad for you to arrange something and then when you do you get nil interest! :confused: Can see when you stepped down mate, and i see why you made the comment you did about ppl not turning up to events! :rant: Neil

Just watched the first 2 episodes,after all the hype on the radio today and must say i enjoyed them, i didn't get into Lost as i was living in Lanzarote when it first came out, and i reallyhate trying to play catch up on a tv programme. cant wait for next weeks installment

Thanks for the replys guys. to answer they i have the standard jap wheels at the moment. Thanks for the photo shop althought thats more gold than yellow, remember the pic was taken on a phone in the spay booth with the lights off! Havent got masses of cash to spare, the wheels are costing £800 delivered with tyres which is about my budget. And i have smithy brake upgrades all round think they're 10 grove disc's. Neil

havent got a pic of the whole car, as it not quiet finished, if some one could copy the colour onto another zed and then photo shop the wheels that would be great, but i havent got a clue how to do it!

Well The cars nearly sprayed and i'm looking for some new wheels, seen these but not sure if they will go with the colour of the car what'd you lot think? Car colour Wheels well what'd ya think? Neil

Shame they want a standard Zed, with my nice new shiny yellow paint and all that, but alas it's a Wings west/ stillen hybrid! oh well never mind! [/img] And a little recap of the paint in case any one missed it ;) Neil

I'm a sparky!! Right, the first lights all fine... so on to the second light, first off you will have the feed in and the feed out, this fromthe board and then to the next light, these will be 2 red 2 black and 2 earth. Next you have your switch wire which normally is just red and black, the yellow blue and red wiring is normally done at the switch on the wall, however the guy that done this must have been lazy! :nono: The other red black and earth are going to light number one. Now what you need to do is find the feed in and out and chock block the reds together black together and ALL earths together. Next find the 2 core switch line(red black earth) it and put the red in with the first 2 reds. the black put in a chock block on its own, this becomes live when you flick the switch,it should have some red sleaving over it as well. Next we come to the 3 core take the yellow and connect it to the red of the LIGHT Take the blue and connect it in withe the black one you have sleaved red and the red one put in with the the other red you have connected. then take the frist 2 black you connected together and connect them to the black on the LIGHT fitting and the earths well from here i think it quiet obvious ;) This should be right, if you still have probs let me know and i'll tall you through a re wire of the lights which would be alot easier, you just need enought 2 core cable to get form light number 1 to the switch on the wall, it dead easy as well HTH Neil

Well the car will be back soon and i've got a wad of cash to spend about £1000 - £1500...... now do get some wheels, Sort the interior, go manual, get the sounds done? I could prob do 2 or 3 of the 4 like, wheels,interior and sounds, or Sounds and maybe manual. but not too sure.... what do you lot think? Neil
