Thanks for all the support everyone, I've posted on several clubs I know he was a member of. I will be printing off the threads and handing them over to his sister / mother to read, i'm sure they will appreciate seeing how many people he made an impression on, and how many people will remember him for years to come - keeping his spirit alive.......

Thanks Greg mate, and Mac and all. I fell asleep sometime last night after drinking myself stupid in the early hours, not going to help I know but there we go. The postman woke me up at 7am, I just heard a knocking on the door and was hoping it was him, it's so surreal atm. And Dipone your gif of doom is the first thing thats made me laugh since I woke up lol, so thanks for that :) I've just been going through some pics of him and , I thought I'd post up a couple of him and Zena at our wedding, it was last August bank holiday.

Like i mentioned if anyone wants details on the funeral, when I have more info, and his familys say so I will pass it on, please pm me. Of course it will depend on what his mother and sister says, I'll find out more over the next week. It would be nice if those who knew him on here wanted to contribute towards some flowers for the funeral. Thanks,

Hi guys, I know Jay used to come on here often. I got home from work today late, a **** day at work, got home, my wife and parents were here, they broke the news to me. Jerome was gone. I went to school with Jay, he was my best friend and like a brother to me. I'm actually breaking up as i write this. My first reaction was just that of total shock, I just burst in to tears shaking. I had to go and see him regardless, and his mother / sister. I went around and I've spent the night there. I've just got home. I saw him in the garage, it was a very sad moment. It looks like a tragic accident, and I can't get my head around it. I don't know what else to say, I don't want to say too much about it, but if anyone wants to pass on a message to the family, please let me know, they really do need the suport at this time. He lived with his mother only in a house just around the corner from me. When the funeral etc is sorted, I will pass on the details to those who knew him and want to attend, I'm sure his family will want his friends to be there. If anyone has any contact information also for anyone else he knew, worked with, and spent time with please pass it on to me so I can let them know. I don't think I will sleep tonight, it still seems like I'm going to talk to him tomorrow. He was house sitting for me all next week, I still feel like hes going to call me in a minute to chat about whats going on. I don't know what else to say, a tragic waste of life, my best friend I've known and shared all my life since junior school who I will sadly miss, and I don't think life will ever be the same again, he was like a brother to me. He will be sadly missed, as I sat on the spot where he was found, I didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay with him, but now, thats it. RIP Jay, where ever you are buddy take care, we will meet again, but for now you will be missed. Love Steve.

If it is making a noise like pinking under full throttle / load, sounds like detonation to me, best get it back there and looked at, last thing you want is (worst case) to blow your piston rings apart. Could be a false alarm, i've not been in it, heard it or looked at it, but it sounds like the problem to me. What Ron petrol are you running with it?

High combustion temperatures and running rich will cause detonation. Although I'm not sure how good the det sensor is on the Z at being accurate. Best ask one of the pros. Have you noticed any pinking on WOT under load? What boost / chip are you running?

Missfire is probably a dodgy coil pack / plug or loose connection, although it could be other things check the connectors on top first. Missfire could lead to rich mixture in whichever cylinder it occurs in, could lead to detonation I guess and then safety boost.

Not sure but I think the thing your reffering to in general is just a big list not a map?
