Zed tried to kill me !
Thats weird, they were shite on my Z i noticed I could move them as easy as anything when I changed the gaskets on the TB's but never thought about them hitting the throttle linkage and just stuffed them back in. Defo worth people checking if it does that, had a similar moment in an old school M5 a while ago, but some twat had put a bolt about three times longer than it should have been in the adjuster and it was sticking on the linkage when you closed the throttle quick and it flicked back, coasting and braking + steering at a decent speed with no power isn't the best is it?

misfire help - non Z
Hi, Our peugeot 306, has developed a pretty much constant misfire / lumpy running, It seems to me like it is either the coil packs, or the MAF. It's not the O2 sensor as I have disconnected, that, and 306's go into a default program when that is disconnected which causes it to run rich, but smooth, disconnecting it made no difference. I disconnected the MAF and had the same issue, other than the rev's rose high on first start then settled whilst still being rough and lumpy. I've had the plugs out, cleaned them, they all looked ok and only went in about 2k ago. I also cleaned the coil pack connectors and re-seated them to make good contact. I'm thinking it's more than likely the MAF, but as it seems to be a constant lumpyness / misfiring no matter the rev's I'm not sure if maybe it is the coil packs? When running also for even a couple of mins, there is a real strong smell of burning, it almost smells like the cat is burning (from running waaaay too rich). So not sure which to buy / try first, don't fancy wasting money though so anyone elses opinions appreciated. Thanks,

Hi Guys, Not sure if anyone is still about who remembers me but thought I would say Hi and wish everyone a happy Xmas and new year :) It's been a long year since what happened to Jay, but life goes on as they say! Still breaking the last beast that was made atm actually, got loads of bits, R33 brakes etc etc, give me a shout if anyone wants a list, for some reason I've lost my perms to the sale section? Anyways, still running around in shopping trolley's atm, bought another drifter for a toy tho and turned to bikes now for outright thrills, can't beat it, well apart from the shite weather we have had, she's only been out five times in the past two months! Hope all is going well guys, take care! Steve

Long hair, interviews blah blah
Thanks for the advice guys, the interview isnt for another couple of weeks as the company I'm going for are on shutdown atm so awaiting confirmation of a time when they return to business. They have already said they want to see me so it's just a case of waiting now. I've got a few agencies on the case though to keep their eyes peeled for other positions that come up which may suit me. Cheers.

My gamming rig
Yeh I know what you mean, I bought the PS3 for one game Rainbox Six Vegas. It was out on the PC and TBH, would be better on the PC fx wise, but I knew a load of ppl that were playing it on the PS3 and there was a good online community on the PS3 version so I got it. Haven't actually played any other game on it lol.

My gamming rig
Cool man I will check it out. VG is actually not too bad, very good gfx etc. Just not a lot of content.
-
My gamming rig
Tooley, VG UI is an unfriendly, uncustomisable peice of crap.

I was thinking about GT legends as well looks cool. I've d/l loads of mods for it, new cars, tracks etc. The wheel is similar to the DFP, I used to have one and it was awsome, a lot more compact than this for desk use etc. I remember moving from a Logitech GT s/wheel to the DFP and thinking how awesome it was, the move to this one is the same again. If you've not got the room for a G25 check out the DFP, it's still good fun and half the price.

My gamming rig
Thanks mate, hoping it will be the doggies when it's actually finished. Still needing some ideas on how to get the fkin chair moving. Going to replace the wooden struts with ally bars, they are just there temporarily. Also I was going to make a cabinet for the TV and front section, but that old stand fitted the bill perfectly with a few adjustments, so decided to use the stand and build that into it - it will all get covered at some point anyway. My main concern really is getting the floor down and fitting the rest of the side section near the sub. I'm going to bolt the floor of it to the floor boards, so any strain or heavy stuff i need to bolt down for the seat mechanics should be secure and sturdy enough.

Hehe, I've got a USB keyboard and mouse for the geek games, it's actually VG tho, cause we all know that WoW is for nubs :nana2: Playing MMO on a wheel would be fkin funny, but TBH I don't get a lot of time for them, put it on to test the rez and see how clear text was on high rez. ATM I seem to just be using it for two games, GTR2 on the PC using the G25, - it's fkin ace, and Rainbow six Vegas on the PS3, quality FPS. Crank up the volume and with it going off around that seat it's like your in it lol.

My gamming rig
Well, still researching the simulator side of things and drawing stuff up, but atm this is my gaming rig in it's unfinished state until I decided which way to go. No funny comments on the carpet please, I just havent got around to finishing decorating the box room yet, and frankly, the gaming rig was more important LOL. It's got a 32" Acer LCD monitor for the visuals, and a 5.1 DTS receiver with a 6 channel direct feed from a USB soundblaster 5.1 for the lappy, optical feed for the PS. Eltax front left right and centre and sub with a couple of technics surround at the back of the seat. It has a PS3 in the cabinet as one machine to have some fun on, and the main brains is a Dell XPS gaming lappy for racing sims. Racing control wise it's got a Logitech G25 900 degree wheel with a six speed H pattern box with neumatic clutch, accel and brake pedals. Also for comfort it's got a new imported toora racing seat. It also has a partrdge in a pear tree. I've got to put a floor plan down when I actually decide on the design, box it all in, that will come when I've actually deccided how to get the seat moving.

Long hair, interviews blah blah
Lol stella and funky. Yeh thats all good sorted it last night. Just see how the interviews go now.

Long hair, interviews blah blah
I think thats the light mate, I only shaved the night before, and going to go cleanly shaved to any interviews for sure. But yeh I forgot about the sidies. Didn't notice the hair was messy around my neck either, it's just new hair growing, guess I could trim that off. Cheers.

Long hair, interviews blah blah
LOL Elmo. Good comments stevie, makes sense mate. And as for the other two pics they are spot on..........:D
-
Long hair, interviews blah blah
Cool thanks for the kind comments guys and girls, gives me a bit more confidence in thinking that all will be good. I've had short hair when getting all of my jobs in the past 10 years or so, I just thought that people may judge me on my long hair when they first saw me, and may strike me off. Richard, I work as an accounts assistant mostly, AAT qualified but not up to chatered level or management accountant. Normal general ledger, sales, purchase, reporting, reconciliations, balance sheet, P&L, investment appraisals etc that sort of crap. Exciting stuff you know? lol, well not really, not my first choice of work but it pays the bills, kinda fell into it........................ Fairladygirl, it's pretty long, I just like to look after it, bit of a woman when it comes to my hair lol.
