  1. lol, my daughter loves it although when ever im driving she keeps shouting that my car is noisy and to stop it if im getting sideways a little. My missus loves it, she said she wouldnt mind one as her next car. The only thing my daughter doesnt like is being stood around the car when I start it, and also she hates it when i've got the roof off.
  2. Yeh I get about 30 miles to a tenner ATM round town. So thats roughly 13mpg I guess, but if you floor it a bit prepare for sub 10mpg. Another way to look at it is it costs usualy around 30-40p per mile on short journeys, still much cheaper than a taxi lol. Long journeys at cruise is a lot better than most people would think.

  6. It's so anoying, I come accross situations like that all the time, one was this week actually, and I'd had me car switched off for a fair few mins waiting for me kentucky! Anyways, got in started her up, let her tick over for a min or two as Im loading the kentucky into a safe place. Then I thought that I would oblige their comments with a little sideways action out the car park (it was pretty clear). Booted it, and it went slowly, BOVS didnt sound that good either, they are usualy deffening at 16psi. Looked down, DOH Fkin safety boost lol. Temp had dropped a little under norm (since the vents fitted it seems to cool off v quick, I walk away from the car with heat hazes pouring out looks a bit special lol) So, only the slightest of twitches, and not much noise, What a ****er, wish I hadnt bothered now. They didnt seem overly impressed, and I drove off thinking **** Y did I boot it. You gotta love safety boost. I love it also when you see some to55er who wants a go and you let em pass cause you cars still cold lol, but then i'd rather do that than kill me car! Just funny, the other day saw a 355 in town, he was on my ass all the way out of town but i'd only just started the car from cold, the car wasnt at temp in the couple of mins I drove it (although they do usualy warm up pretty quick dont they). Had to let the To55er overtake in the other lane while I watched him and couldnt play :( would have cained him big time too lol.
  7. Done that before anyway lol, back along (I think 9 years ago if I recall) Worked at a really stressfull place, we always nipped out at lunchtime to have a smoke, then back to work trying not to laugh at the customers shouting at you. The reason I remember it so well is because it was the day I put myself off of Toffee Crisp's for life, I'd had nothing at all to eat that day. I had only consumed three cans of shandy (lol) I emptied the vending machine of six TC's over the period of one hour. Later that day I felt aweful, like I was just waiting to be sick. Toffee Crisps showed no remorse for me and decided to set about me, kicking my arse, churning my stomach at a hefty rate of nots. For months if I even looked at a toffee crisp it would make me heave, not nice. Still cant eat em to this day and its making me feel ill just talking / thinking about it this early too.
  8. lol looks ok apart from the complete lack of knowledge by the person selling it is disturbing and also the fact like you said it aint even got matching wheels lol!
  9. I was about to ask where you been then read the other thread lol, nice to see you back again mate ;)
  10. Hate chavs one sauntered across the road the other day infront of my car, his mates stayed well back as i was doing a fair speed but the 'leader of the pack' had to show his cronies how hard he was, so I floored it and headed straight for him, I honestly didnt mind if he cropped it one, old bill round here hate cap wearing chavs anyways. I dont know how i missed him but he shit his pants I am almost certain i clipped his jeans. Stupid? maybe I was but if he steps out in front of my car while its moving he deserves his *****cks taking off.
  11. TBH honest mate, I wouldnt buy a Z under about 5k but thats my opinion. I bought my for 5.5k and it had no tax no mot all bald tyres and a hosddy back end, BUT i knew the past five years history and knew the engine etc was mint, all the cars I have ever seen under 4k etc have been smokey or shoddy. And as for all the nice cars which are 5k+ no one buys em but enthusiasts. I mean what average JOE is willing to spend 7k on a 13 year old car then be willing to pay for 8MPG and large on parts is things do go wrong and also heavy insurance? They arnt, they rather stick to smaller engined newer turbo cars altho cars like the Z sup etc are in a class of their own! I would stick around, do some reasearch ( dig up posts on the cars that are being sold perhaps) and get to know some people here. Then get someone with you to look at them. IMHO 80% on autotrader for sub 5k are buckets, I have been to see so many with friends that have caught the Z bug and they were all shocking.
  12. Hi guys, I havnt been on for a while been rebuilding a new pc and fixing some random car (not the Z for a change!). So 1st off hello, and second I havnt heard from zippo on the lighters and designs i sent over. I tried chasing it up last week but no response, so I will be calling them over the next few days. Mujina, i'll call you mate over w/e, as I got a new mobile now, me other one packed in and they wanted to charge me a fortune for a new one! laters all Steve
